"Take my hand and dance with me," Gabriella said as she watched his lips curve into a smirk as he obediently drew her closer to him.
"My princess, do you know how dangerous it is to make this deal with me? Consider it as making a deal with the devil. Aren't you scared of dancing with the devil?"
"It's not as dangerous as betraying the king of Horndragon."
"After all, devils no longer exist. I and the king of Horndragon killed them all. The devil is no longer the strongest of all."
"Now you must be crazy if you don't know the devil is still the most dangerous creature in this universe. Tsk, don't be too confident, my princess, it might hurt you in the end." His hand circled firmly around her waist as they took the first step to the rhythm of the soft music.
"Too confident? Seems like I'll have to admit that I'm too scared to accept the truth." The moment these words left her lips, she felt a slight tingle on her skin, his hand was tracing down from her neck to the point her breath couldn't hold it anymore.
She slid away from him, took a step backwards, and turned in a quick circle before landing safely in his hands again.
When she thought she had escaped the delicate fingertips tracing down to her core, which she could barely resist, his hands instantly returned to their previous position making her shiver slightly.
She couldn't help but swallow hard when his voice whispered into her ears. It was a sweet whisper yet it brought all the warnings she had to inscribe in her head.
"Maybe I have to remind you that dancing with the me means, you will obey every word I say."
"You will make sure I wear the crown of Blackshed on my head. You will make them all bow and kiss my feet. And most of all, no man dares touch you except me, not even your husband is allowed to touch you. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?"

Synopsis:
The great war between so many kingdoms of the paranormals brought a catastrophic conflict that ravaged the world, putting paranormals against humans and paranormals against paranormals in a struggle for dominance.
The war raged for decades, leaving destruction and devastation in the lives of both paranormals and humans. As the conflict escalated, at this time many kingdoms fueled by ambition and a desire for control had begun to abuse their powers, using them to enslave and oppress each other.
It was after one of the notable wars between the kingdom of Horndragon and the Kingdom of Demonda that paranormals felt stripped of their supernatural powers, rendering them mortal and vulnerable.
The sudden loss of their powers sent shockwaves through the paranormal communities, leaving many feeling disoriented and powerless.
When the war slowly came to an end, the paranormals, now on equal footing with each other in the sense of having supernatural powers, were forced to negotiate and make peace.
This left a deep sense of loss and longing among the paranormals, who missed their former abilities and the sense of identity as they now came to live like humans.
Investigations were made by Seers and great Lords to find the truth and the real reason for the loss of their powers, but as years passed, no answer came from anywhere and everyone came to the conclusion that the gods were angry at the amount of chaos and the greed for power among Kings making them take the powers of all paranormals.
But after a few years, this notion for peace to reign was not for King Tristan Gibon whose taste for power was unquenchable. He devised so many ways to acquire power and make all Kings bow to his feet.
Gabriella Gibon was born in the family of the great and dangerous king of Horndragon. She spent her days fighting in wars to conquer kingdoms for her greedy father, King Tristan Gibon, the greatest alpha of the werewolves.
As time went on, she discovered a secret about herself that could alter her position in the kingdom, and this became an ominous secret she kept between herself and her mother.
Unable to handle the bitter truth of this discovery that haunted her, the sad truth that the people she fought were the people of her true birth, this discovery made her resolved firm as she fought for a way to save her people.
In other to achieve her aim and create peace in the world of deadly creatures, she was caught up in a deal and a deadly romance game.
