Chương 4: The First Magic Highschool

The next morning

It was as usual for Rias and Ayato or at least what their memories decipted it as normal .

The two woke up , each took turn to shower , made breakfast and did a round of slight cleaning around the house , and ended by the two wearing their uniforms going toward the school.

While Rias would like to say that the walk toward the school was peaceful and quiet , it was anything but , anywhere they went whispers were heard , and people kept glancing at them non-stop , and to their defence it's not everyday that you see two exceptionally beautiful people , still Rias thought she would be used to the attention given her title back in her school but it didn't help in this situation , the looks she was given were making her quite uncomfortable

" Are you not feeling uncomfortable "Rias said trying to distract herself

Ayato looked her for a second and then continued looking forward to which Rias understood as 'you serious?'prompting her to sigh

" Just bear with it we're close to the school anyway" says Ayato noticing her predicament

"Fine" she grumbled

After a few minutes of walking the two caught the view of the first highschool

"It's quite big actually , it didn't look that way in the story" commented Rias

"It's not bad really" Says Ayato prompting Rias to look at him

"What?" he says confused and Rias just sighs

"Nothing , let's just go" She said

"Sure" he answered

A few moments of walking on the school ground Rias and Ayato catch a glimpse Tatsuya and Saegusa Mayumi

"Hmmm so that part happened here too" commented Rias

"Stop getting distracted and let's get going , the ceremony is that way" says Ayato

"Hmm no , let's go say hello to our senpai" Rias grins , grabs Ayato by the hand and drags them

"Hey don't drag me around" says Ayato surprised

Rias pays him no mind , and continue leading him to where Tatsuya and Mayumi were conversing

"Tatsuya-san ,good morning" says Rias walking up to Tatsuya and Mayumi with Ayato in tow

Tatsuya turned around to see Rias with a grin on her face and Ayato with a defeated face making him smile a little

On the other hand Mayumi who just saw the newcomers was stunned speechless , Rias's beauty and impressive figure aside , seeing Ayato she felt like her eyes were lying to her , or more like her own brain was playing tricks on her , and seeing that reaction Rias's grin widens

"Good morning Rias-san , Ayato-san"Answers Tatsuya snapping Mayumi from her daze ,prompting her to ask

" Tatsuya-kun , these two are?"

tatsuya looks at her about to introduce them but Rias cuts him off

"Good morning Senpai , my name is Rias Gremory Class 1-A , it's a pleasure to meet you"

She finishes her introduction only to be hit on the head by Ayato prompting her to turn at him

"What was that for" Rias grumbles

"For being reckless and rude , you can't just barge in a conversation and start cutting people off" Ayato Answered

"But"

"No buts, you're being childish" Ayato said then turned to Mayumi

"Senpai , i am Ayato Shibata , Class 1-B , im sorry for her rudeness she's a bit reckless but she's a good kid"

"Stop treating me like a child "Rias complained

"Then stop acting like one"Ayato countered

Saying them arguing although Ayato always kept his calm face Mayumi started giggling

Noticing this all three of them turn toward her Rias and Tatsuya had a smile on their faces but Ayato as usual kept his expression

Seeing this Mayumi blushed but then coughed to regain her composure

"Cough* . It's a pleasure to meet you both my name is Saegusa Mayumi Class 3-A, i am also the student council president , i hope we get along " she says with courtesy and a smile

""Likewise"" Rias and Ayato answer

"Senpai although i would like for us to converse a bit more , but i believe we should get going as the opening ceremony is about to start" Says Ayato

"Yes although the chance to meet again will come by very easily " says Rias

"What do you mean?" asks Mayumi

"You plan to invite the first Ranked student to the council yes?" answered Rias by another question

" Of couse it is the tradition as well as the rule every year " said mayumi

"Then we would have no problem as she happens to be Tatsuya-san's sister as well as out friend "

"Oh my" Mayumi puts a hand on her mouth surprised

"Tatsuya-kun , it is not good to hide things"

" I did not intend to hide anything senpai you wouldve found out after the ceremony either way"

"Anyway senpai as we said the chance to meet up will come by sooner than you expect , until then take care . Let's go Tatsuya-san , Ayato"

""Until then senpai"" both Tatsuya and Ayato say while being dragged by Rias

"Until then " Mayumi smiles and waves at them while thinking

'It's going to be an interesting year'

Rias ,Ayato and Tatsuya headed to where the ceremony was being held , entering through and headed to where Tatsuya Sat in the story

After taking their seats a few moments later two female students approached them

"Are the seats beside you taken " one of the two asked

Rias who looked at them smiled knowingly then said

" No please take a seat"

"y-yes , th-thank you" says the timid glasses girl after she got a closer look at how beautiful Rias looked

Rias smiled amiably then introduced herself

"My name is Rias Gremory Class 1-A , nice to meet you and i hope we get along "

The two girls who were surprised snapped back to introduce themselves

"M-My name is Shibata Mizuki , Class 1-E l-likewise i hope we get along " the timid girl said

"I'm Chiba Erika , also Class 1-E , lets get along "the tomboyish girl said

Rias smiled and said

" Of course , please don't stay standing take a seat "

""Yes""

Both the girls took a seat then Rias said pointing at Tatsuya and Ayato

" You don't mind if i introduce my two friends right?"

The two girls who looked at where she was pointing suddenly had their brains frozen .

The reason was of course Ayato , but thankfully Rias brought them back to reality when she started introducing them as she pointed at Ayato first

"This one is my cousin , Ayato while the other is my friend Tatsuya i'll leave them to introduce themselves"

Following that Ayato not to sound rude introduced himself although he sounded robotic

"Shibata Ayato , Class 1-B , pleasure to meet you both" he says with a small bow and the same expression followed by Tatsuya

" Shiba Tatsuya , Class 1-E pleasure and hope we get along "

"Y-yes n-nice to meet y-you" says Erika while Mizuke knew she was going to mess up if she talked so she just nodded and looked down embarassed

" As you can see they may seem quite cold but they are nice " Rias smirked making Ayato sigh and Tatsuya smile a bit

" Uh Mizuki are you by chance related to shibata-san ?"questionned Erika trying to get rid of her embarassement

"Ayato is fine and no we are not related , we just happen to share the same surname " but Ayato was the one who answered instead

" I see i'm sorry if that was rude " apoligized Erika

"Not at all "

After a round of small talk between them an annoucement was heard

"Attention please , We will now begin the matriculation ceremony for the National Magic University Affiliated First High School."

What followed was multiple speeches that most would find boring

[A/N: which is why i will be skipping it smile]

That was until Miyuki's turn came

" Oh it's Miyuka-san turn "Exclaimed Rias

" You seem to know her Gremory-san "Asked Mizuki

" Rias is fine , yes i do she's Tatsuya's little sister and also our friend "

" Ah i see"

And all of them focused as Miyuki started giving her speech

"As the sunlight streams gently, and the vivid cherry blossoms flutter on this gorgeous

spring day, I feel elated and honored that my wish to be admitted to the prestigious

National Magic University Affiliated First Highschool has come true. On behalf of the

incoming students, and filled with pride of being a member of First Highschool..."

"Oh wow i knew she'd make quite the figure in speeches but she doesn't fail to surprise me "

commented Rias making Tatsuya smile

" If only you were half as mature as she was " commented Ayato making Rias snarl at him

"Hey that was uncalled for "

"No quite the opposite i feel like it's necessary to remind you that you need to stop being childish "

"Whatever" Rias just huffs and looks away making both Mizuki and Erika Giggle

Afterwards Mizuki , Erika and Tatsuya separated from Ayato and Rias as their classes are in different locations

"I'll come pick you up after class to have lunch with the rest " Says Ayato

" Whatever " Said Rias still looking mad

Ayato sighs then pats her head with a barely percepted smile

" Don't get so angry im being serious, you not taking things seriously is stupid and you know that we're part of that clan now , there are things that are expected of us and your mindset is not good enough for it , you're young so it's fine but you can't stay that way forever , think of it as overprotectiveness from my side but you still should be carefull "

Rias was looking down for a few moments before she turned around brushing his hand off and saying

"whatever " and she walked away

"Haaah " Ayato just sighs unware of the blush on Rias face then he started making his way to his class under the whispers and stuns of many students

Finally reaching to his class Ayato walks in

Earning a few gasps here in there but quite used to it he continues on to a seat

" Is this seat taken? " he asks the boy next to him

"N-No , feel free to sit " answers the boy

"My name is Shibata Ayato , i hope we get along "

"A-AH yes , I-I am Tomitsuka Hagane likewise let's get along "

Ayato nods then turns around as someone nudges him from behind and he sees a red haired girl smiling

"Nice to meet you Shibata-san my name is Akechi Eimi, hope we get along "

"Likewise hope we get along " then all them of started paying attention as the teacher just entered

"Glad to meet you everyone i will be the teacher for Class-B my name is Kitou Tomohiko . as everyone is already here we will start by ... "

As the hours went by lunch time was up and Ayato was on his way to pick up Rias from her class , so he stood by the door of her class waiting for her and closed his eyes not paying attention to the whispering of the students and the blushing teenagers

A few moments pass by and he opens his eyes as he notices Rias and Miyuki were coming out along with two other girls he recognized

"Oh there he is " exaclaimed Rias

" It's good to see you again , Ayato-san " Miyuki smiled

" Likewise miyuki-san"

Ayato then shifts his gaze to the girls who were dazed seeing him then shifts back to Rias

"Right i wanted you two to meet my cousin , this is Ayato i hope you guys get along "

she says to the two stunned girls and Ayato brings them back to reality when he introduces himself

"Shibata Ayato , Class 1-B pleased to make your acquitance "

The two girls answer back although they were stuttering

"M-Mitsui Honoka . L-LI-Likewise pleasure to m-meet you"

"K-Kitayama Shizuku , nice to meet you"

" Okay now that you're all acquinted we should get going "Said Rias taking the attention

"We're going to meet Tatsuya?"Asked Ayato

"Yes but before that we should pay a visit to the student council president as Mayumi Senpai invited Miyuki-san today " she answered

"Understood " Ayato nods and all five of them get going although the whispers around them grew , of course that was to be expected as an extreemly handsome young man was walking with 4 flowers each more beautiful than the last
