'Wait, if she wears that HOMU costume then would Anti-Entropy still be able to produce their games?" Uesugi thought. It was Anti-Entropy who developed HOMU, despite its wacky features, it had the potential of contrasting fierce and cuteness.
Firstly, entering Anti-Entropy would require them to show their faces. If it weren't for the misunderstanding brought by the Mercenary Realm then the mess later wouldn't have happened
While he was in his own world, he saw Bronya placing bombs that she brought from Maxim's place
He realized that she replaced her mask and wrapped the HOMU mask around her back
The difference in size looked cute in his eyes and he thought she noticed that the public image of HOMU was at risk
After the setup was finished, Uesugi equipped his Battlesuit, this time a visor covered his eyes, leaving only his mouth unprotected.
He mentioned to Bronya that he would have an alias when meeting the Anti-Entropy members. It would allow him to enter Schicksal with his true appearance where the main events would occur
'Even if I worked as a spy like Bronya, I'm still a male, and entering St Freya Academy which is an all-girls school would be unrealistic for my health'. Uesugi silently thought and he didn't have any thoughts about anyone besides the protagonists.
Bronya approached him and said "We can start now", Uesugi nodded in acceptance. With a switch in her hand, she pressed it without hesitation
*Boom*
The entire base of the towering building blew apart. Shards of glass flew, luckily no one was within vicinity due to their actions
Losing its foundation, the building began to collapse vertically without tilting.
Suddenly, Uesugi felt hostility pointing in their direction. When he turned his head, a bullet was moments away from him
"Dodge it!"
Uesugi pushed Bronya into an alleyway while he barely dodged the bullet, leaving a scratch on his face
'It wasn't imbued with Honkai Energy, is it an ordinary assailant? But they managed to hide their presence from me'. While Uesugi lacked experience, his insane improvement is enough to be called superhuman
Fiercely staring at where the bullet came from. He didn't see any sign of the enemy
He wasn't surprised that they noticed them but their greeting really wronged him in his opinion
Turning back to look at the collapsed building, he glanced at Bronya who returned the gaze and gave a silence of peace at the scene
The entire building turned into debris and nothing of its previous glorious sight was left of it
'I think we went a bit too far'. Silently scratching his cheek, he noticed a few bloodlusts aimed at him and Bronya
When the smoke faded, three figures appeared of different sizes tall, average, and short. They formed a triangle around the duo leaving no gaps in their entrapment
Unsheating Lightning Soul from his sheath, Uesugi saw Bronya without her weapons but left her alone since she probably had some plan going on
Without further ado, the trio approached them swiftly as the tall and short opponents attacked Uesugi while Bronya surprisingly approached her foe which caused Uesugi to flinch slightly
"Who are you two, why did you blow up the building". The tall figure said as he held Uesugi in place. He was wearing a mask so Uesugi couldn't tell from his expression, but the voice was monotonous and he immediately linked them to Anti-Entropy's people
Pondering on his next words, a pair of daggers sweep for his legs. Uesugi didn't panic and without jumping, he lifted one of his feet and stepped on the opponent's dagger before back-kicking his face
A blunt sound was heard as the dagger-wielder was sent flying, losing one of his daggers under Uesugi's feet.
"Bastard!" The tall figure previously was slim and lean. Seemingly on steroids, his body began to bulk as he grew from 180cm to 200cm.
Shouting a battle cry, he charged towards Uesugi who showed no signs of dodging
"Boom!"
The disparity between physiques seemed apparent but the scene was different from expectation by the audiences
Veins began showing as the tall bulky man realised that he wasn't able to make Uesugi budge an inch
Grunting heavily, the pressure on Uesugi increased which surprised him as there were no signs of Honkai Energy emitting from the bulky man
While he was curious, he remained lax as the pressure was still within bearable limits.
Worried about Bronya's situation, he turned his head and discovered the astonishing sight in his view.
"Damn it, don't come any closer" The average-sized opponent was retreated with signs of scratches all over him. They didn't look fatal, yet he fled in the face of the petite figure chasing him with a pair of guns
An emotionless face was on Bronya's face as she continued pursuing her enemy. Whenever he took his foot off the ground, she raised the pistols and shot his upper and lower body
Because the average-sized figure was in the air, he could only shift his body into weird shapes. Uesugi smirked at the laughable sight and realized despite being experts, they could not utilize Honkai Energy
This wasn't surprising as male Honkai Energy users were rare and they were undiscovered or raised in the major organizations. Anti-Entropy wouldn't send them to a pair of childish 'terrorists'
Both Uesugi and Bronya weren't using Honkai Energy in the battle. 'It's only possible because of the system's enhancement but she's using her monstrous analytical observation and reaction time'
Uesugi couldn't help but marvel at her genius before retracting his gaze.
'We better resolve the misunderstandings, otherwise, it'll get annoying if Cocolia makes her move'. Tensing his muscles, he lowered his back and lifted the burly man before sending him to the approaching dagger user
It happened so fast that the two blanked out and were sent unconscious before crashing into a building
Bronya realized her cue and began aiming at the retreating figure's vital point, incapacitating him before using her small fist to knock him out.
Raising a thumbs up in her direction, Bronya walked to him expressionless as it didn't take a lot out of her
Her interaction with Honkai Energy users and beasts tempered her abilities and outlook. She may be small, but as a mini-turret with Honkai Energy, these 'bullies' were nothing to her
Retracting his hands, Uesugi faced an alleyway and yelled, "I'm sorry for the trouble. However, we have come in peace to speak with Anti-Entropy's higher-ups"
The katana in his hands disappeared as he raised both arms, trying to appear innocent at all costs. Bronya followed his lead and dropped both guns
Glancing at the emotionless expression, he nudged her and whispered, "Hey, place a cute face for them to see..." And what he received was a fierce glance
Pouting at his words, she ignored him and stared at the alleyway Uesugi was facing. While she didn't have detection skills, her instincts could pick up hints of animosity from that direction
The duo remained stationary for a minute. Uesugi seemed to be getting restless when he heard a sigh coming from the alleyway as if exasperated by what she heard
"You come in peace, yet you destroyed an entire skyscraper consisting of 100 floors and held a blade and gun. You can't blame me for distrusting you, especially with your young age, I thought it was a pair of monsters attacking us".
While the voice was spoken with distrust, Uesugi could sense that she didn't take them seriously which made sense judging by who it was
The long blonde hair rained down on her voluptuous body adding maturity to her as her tired appearance emitted a sense of protection in men, in this 'mother-like figure'.
"I truly apologize for my behavior, but I needed to meet with one of Anti-Entropy's higher-ups, even when you are in the radical faction which I find somewhat displeasing" Uesugi revealed a helpless face which contrasted with his words
Cocolia was shocked as she couldn't help but re-examine the duo, realizing that they were involved in the world of Honkai
The expression vanished instantly as she smiled gently at them. However, inwardly she was thinking, 'How could these two be so skilled at their age, I have yet to see their Honkai Energy proficiency but their confidence and information are worth knowing'.
Both sides had their own thoughts on the situation. Bronya merely followed Uesugi's lead as he planned out this occasion.
"We will prove that we are on your side and hopefully enter your organization as a member". Uesugi's physical age surpassed his appearances but anyone can still tell he is still a child, let alone Bronya
Cocolia was shocked by their lack of affiliation. This meant they were self-taught. While Uesugi showed impressive strength, she thought an organisation would have caught these kids under their 'tutelage'
She couldn't help but feel this was a ploy and decided to test the waters
As she was curious where the Uesugi got his confidence from, Cocolia chuckled slightly, "Alright boy, convince me and I will decide"
Despite her covering her thoughts, Uesugi could tell she was suspicious of them which isn't surprising
Honestly, he had no idea on how to convince her. There are some insider information he can release but it may affect the plot of the story
'Should I talk about her orphanage? No... It'll only aggravate her since it's sensitive information'. Countless thoughts went by his head
Placing his hands on Bronya's and stroking it, he continued contemplating
