Chương 257: Felt Like A Wifey.

After breakfast, Nicklaus went up to his study room and Arissa decided to stay back in the living room with Blu. 

She has a lot to think about before going back to her room. And again, the living room held some memories that calmed her. 

Currently, she sat on one of the couches, staring at all angles of the living room and the paintings around, reminiscing the first time she stepped foot into this house. 

She wondered how her life would have turned out to be if Nicklaus wasn't understanding and had been wickedly harsh to her or if Mrs. Wyatt had not been welcoming. 

She stood up from the couch stocking Blu. fur with her mind in different places. Nicklaus told how things in the hospital stand. 

Everyone had been fine and okay except for her. The operation was successful but the couple and Adele haven't been told a word since Beatrice wasn't stable enough.
