Chương 675: General Li Is Disappointed In Xi Ying

The Imperial Assembly ended too soon that day. 

The Emperor left after declaring that he was not feeling well. The ministers expressed their concerns and bowed their heads as Zhao Wang Lei left the Imperial Court. 

Xi Ying smiled coldly as he looked at Zhao Wang Lei's leaving back. 

It seemed that his plan had worked. 

The ministers started to leave the Imperial Court one by one and Xi Ying also stood up from his seat. However, he had just stepped outside when he heard General Li calling him again. He closed his eyes with a heavy sigh knowing very well that the middle-aged General Li was not going to leave him alone until he would not find out everything. 

However, he would also not tell him anything.

There was a different pleasure in knowing something about Li Rui that even her dear father who claimed to love her the most …even more than him (Xi Ying) didn't know.
