Chương 65: Blind date

When she reached the restaurant of the hotel where they agreed to dine, Jeffrey, Melissa, and a few of the crew were already seated. Jeffrey stood up and helped her with her seat, which was in between him and Melissa.

"I will assume that this was not your first time in New York," Jeffrey asked. At least for the first time, she was having an actual conversation with them other than related to work.

"Yes. I had been here several times before." She shared with them as she ordered something on the menu. "I always find this city fascinating."

"If you were to have a day to spend in the city, where do you want to go first?" Jeffrey's assistant asked her.

"There were a few times that I wanted to visit Central Park, but I was not allowed to because of my status." She remembered when she was young as she looked outside her hotel window at the people having fun on the ice.
