Chương 57: Helpful visitors.
Over the course of the next few days the girls almost never left my room at the hospital which was upgraded to a first class private room.
My first visitors were actually nick and perenelle who had heard about what happened.
"Oh dear you look absolutely dreadful." Perenelle said dragging along nick. "We came as soon as we heard really getting ambushed by a dark lord and kidnapped is not how most people spend their summer." She says in a motherly tone.
"Yeah I wast expecting it either really." I say with a laugh.
"Alright off with the shirt let me see what kind of damage you got I've brought along some of my medicines." Perenelle says pulling out her purse. She was a trained mediwitch back in the day leagues ahead of anyone here and with nick helping her along with alchemy I'm sure she's got some good stuff.
She helps me take of my shirt before sucking in a breathe looking at the damage. "You poor dear." She says hugging me and starting to undo vials of medicines which she rubs on some of the dark black curse scars.
"Nothing I can do about the arm but we can get rid of some of this blackening." She says gently applying more potions and nick takes out some things as well scanning me over with his wand.
"Drink some of these they will help with the damage to your internals." He says passing me vials which taste like shit but do help with some of the pressure I've been feeling inside.
Really good people.
They go over me a few more times scanning me and fixing up broken bits and pieces the other nurses had missed and giving me potions to help me get better faster.
"Ah this is what I get for underestimating people and messing around." I say with a sigh laying back onto the bed.
"It happens to the best of us dear." Says Perenelle applying potion to my shoulder.
"Yep I've been caught with my pants down a few times." Nick says going on about some stories of the olden days happily.
After they are done helping me out I promise to get some good lunch with them when I'm free and I get a hug from Perenelle and a hand shake from nick before they leave to go do some business.
My next visitor was ragnok.
"Master sharpspike would be most displeased if he found out one of his students got caught off guard like you did." He says pulling up a seat and a table and putting some paper on it.
"Yeah I'm pretty pissed myself. Anyway I'm glad your hear I've got some stuff to discuss with you but we can wait til your business is done first." I tell the goblin king.
"Sure, first off is your newly acquired lands and money." He says sliding me over some papers.
Apparently by right of combat I had won everything Tom Riddle owned which was everything he had gotten from killing people. Including the rest of the malfoy estate, dumbledores estate, snapes estate, the prewitt family grimoire from molly. All sorts of random bits and bobs coming up to a nice fortune.
"You can sell off the properties and move the gold to the Steele vault. Any books and grimoires are good aswell." He gives me a list of items which I keep a few and sell the rest.
After a few signatures and some other paperwork we are done with that.
"Now what might I be able to help you with?" He asks me putting the paperwork in a folder.
I wave my hand over the table and some papers and a metal arm land on it. This is Edward Elrics arm the one that can connect to nerves and such.
"I need you to forge me an arm I want some modification done and I need it to fit me here are the schematics." I say pushing the items to him and he reads them.
"This really is a work of art I'm sure we can improve on it what kind of modifications do you want and do you have some paper and a measuring tape." He says as I pull out a list I had made and hand him some paper and a quill along a magical measuring tape.
He takes measurements of my other arm, my body and my shoulder drawing some stuff and making notes for a bit before finishing off by going over the papers. "I'm sure we can get this done it's going to take a bit though." He says reading what I want.
"That's fine I'm not really going anywhere." I tell him.
"If you have some of these items we may be able to make it even better but most of these are rare or lost so." He writes some things down and I read it before pulling everything out and passing it over to him.
"I'm expecting a work of deadly art so try not to let me down." I say passing him a few more rare items as payment he happily accepts.
"Not a problem." With the items in hand he quickly gets up and leaves the room passing stuff to his guards.
Honestly it was slightly off balancing having only one arm. I now had an urge to use my left hand for no reason and just couldn't get rid of the feeling. It bugged me.
Atleast is have a sweet metal arm in a few days time that was something to look forward too and I was feeling better from all the potions the flamels gave me.
I say back in the bed and pulled out my laptop before turning on some nice videos to watch. I didn't really have anything else to do for a while so might as well just relax and enjoy myself. The girls had gone home to shower and change so the room was quiet for the time being and I knew that wouldn't last long. They had been extra clingy lately which was nice but it was also ugh at the same time ya know? But it just showed they cared.
