Viết đánh giáThe story is quite funny but the D&D wizard is out of place in HP world especially if they can’t cast spells normally like other people in the story setting. D&D character build may be interesting in D&D but in real world (or any other fantasy world) it’s unlikely that people (or characters) behave as such. Moreover the grammar and updates are something to be improved upon. But all is not bad, the main character is fun and his D&D references and other characters reactions to it are quite entertaining.
Really well written in terms of diplogue and plot. I highly suggest giving this a try. However, the issue for me is that I dislike the premise that he can only use D&D magic. Also, as someone not very familiar with D&D upon looking into the magic system I utterly despise how it functions. Thus, I will say this is a great story just not to my own taste. 7.2/10, solid and worth trying.
Amazing story, and has been an extreme fun read for me. It also has a lot of elements of humor which I enjoy. Definitely recommend reading it!
I absolutely adore this story and I love the like 3. 5 dimension perspective the MC has on the world of Harry Potter world where he sees the tropes and genre elements of the story, Yet also demonstrates tropes and genre elements that we and the in universe characters call out for following a trope
Tiết lộ SpoilerI got a headache from reading this I mean it's cool and all but I'm not a dungeon and dragon player so it's confusing as f***but that's on me for not knowing about dungeons and dragons to understand the book or to like it
one of the funniest fanfic i have ever read while not sacrificing the story, dialogue or characters. the choices and dialogue aren't forced and are still really funny and interesting. recommend
it's pretty good, in my opinion, though naming the chapters would be a good addition, not saying their isn't anything else that could be improved.
It is a very good story, although it is quite confusing at first. I think my confusion is highly attributed to whether or not the MC is a game character from a D&D game, which makes sense as to why he wouldn't have memories of his parents and can "metagame" calling jargon from D&D, but the point that he can't use wands seems pretty stupid to me. He does not need spellcasting focus as a wizard, but that does not stop a wizard from gaining a spellcasting focus. A wand in Harry Potter could be counted as a magical item and if he does have other items that he's attuned to then systematically sure. But, spellcasting foci doesn't need attunement to functionally use, so why can't he use wands from Harry Potter.
I want to ask about a novel for those who know it? It's about someone reincarnated as a brother to Harry Potter. And he must not change canon.
Was funny at first since the mc sounds delusional. But that works if the mc is doing it deliberately. Like some 4th wall knowledge of a reincarnator. But the way this was set up was mc only knows his back story and very much hollow in everything else. His personality doesnt hold up beyond his otherworldy mutterings. Also a main character being in hp yet not be able to use their magic, kinda makes the whole thing pointless
This novel is called Harry Potter and the Natural 20 by Sir Poley at ffnet, it's already completed.
The story is very erratic. Not at all suitable for a novel narration, the dialogue looks like it's suited for a crack fic or a manga or anime. Not a diss on the story.
Living proof that D&D is just for nerds. The writing is cringe, author does not know HP lore and the whole story makes 0 sense. MC is like a braindead monkey that jumps around like a total clown. He is from D&D but he acts like a nerd who just likes playing D&D. His character is completely messed up and butchered. Don't even try to understand what the author had planned for it. Drugs are a bad thing. Overall there is nothing redeeming about this.

story is well written and the characters work even if they arent at all loyal to the source in some cases... what bothers me isnt a critique of the content but rather the concept.... hes self aware and has experiance meta gaming but is strangely not absorbing or adapting to the setting.... obviously this allows the gag to keep functioning but ultimately it goes against what he is as a metagaming dnd character to not even try to break the system and absorb power from the hp system
