In a world we shall call Gaia, humans are wrought by terror-inducing creatures, called Spirits, created by all present energy found everywhere called Qi. The savage lands of Kolasi, the kingdoms of Perfanie and the islands of Dikastri. After a drunken stupor that ended with drowning in the sea, a middle-aged man is reborn as a newborn child in Dikastri.
