Chương 50: Aces of Jadia
Zenkai backed up and Argonus walked around him in circles.
"You might be a better host than Moncler."
"Who are you," Zenkai asked.
"I'm someone who'll make you stronger." He replied as he rushed at Zenkai with his hand trying to grab his face.
Zenkai grabbed his hand and parts of his body started tearing apart.
"This must be that destructive power you had," Argonus said as his hand fell to the ground.
A roaring thunderclap came from the sky and struck the ground. Darling walked toward it and noticed someone he had seen before.
Argonus backed up and sat down while Zenkai returned and looked around there was nothing but destruction before him and he looked at Moncler who lay on the ground smiling with his eyes closed.
He walked toward him and the day was brighter while the clouds moved swiftly he sat down and touched his eye that was glowing and it slowly disappeared.
Moncler let out soft words something unexpected from him.
Zenkai took in what he said and looked up.
"This war lasted for some time now time to put it to an end."
Zenkai got back up and ran toward Jadia.
Darling walked toward the person as the lightning stream filled the area.
The man stared at Darling and he walked past him.
Darling turned around and grabbed his shoulder.
"Sin?" Darling asked as he still held onto his shoulder.
The man coated his body with more lightning and
made Darling back up.
"Don't tell me you're with them," Darling asked.
"No, I don't care about country affairs but are you alive or just a walking corpse." Sin asked.
Darling stared at him "I don't know."
"Anyways I came to check out what was going on but I couldn't tell where the darkness originated from so it took me a while to get here seems this fight is about over." He looked around and saw many Hiroshima and Feronia soldiers on the floor while Jadia remained.
"Prosper as a nation but none of that will matter since this world is about to crumble in despair live life to the fullest, find love, and enjoy while the weak cry out it won't last long." Sin turned away from Darling and continued his walk.
Darling didn't chase after him and returned to his friends as Zenkai appeared as well.
"Let's get Hikari back and go back to our old lives."
Vannox shadow soldiers disappeared and Flakes fixed the battlefield then residents of the area appeared out of the castle.
Zenkai touched the castle which didn't have a single scratch on it.
"Survived all of that, amazing."
Everyone stared at Zenkai as he stood before them so he spoke.
"Jadia didn't fail as a country and this is because you guys are a country built on strength it has become my home in the last two years I lived here and I don't plan on letting it get destroyed but first I would like to create a rank." Zenkai cleared his throat.
The Four Aces of Jadia.
"Jadian Devil Vannox, Earth Conqueror Flakes, Illusionist Lyssa, and The Mimic."
All four of them stepped behind Zenkai and stared at the people who stood before them.
"Whenever Jadia is in danger they'll come and fight so don't fear." Zenkai turned around and whispered to them telling them to head to Feronia the country ruled by Lugh and find Hikari.
They nodded and vanished from the area.
"I can return my face to normal now I assume the country still hates me so I was using a shapeshifting ability to change my appearance." Darling face went back to his own.
They arrived at the entrance of Feronia and stared at the knights guarding it.
They raised their spears at them and approached.
"State your business." One of the guards asked.
"We are here to speak with King Lugh," Vannox answered.
"The King isn't here at the moment please return another time."
Vines appeared out the ground and lifted the knights in the air.
"I don't think he'll be here anytime soon." Flakes said as he walked toward them and touched their chests turning them into animal summons.
They entered the capital of Feronia and walked around they noticed a big castle in the distance and walked toward it.
Kids ran past them yelling and having fun but in a bit, a group of humans chained up appeared they followed by a soldier who kept them in a line.
"Slaves," Darling whispered.
"What?" Lyssa asked.
"Jadia the country built on strength, Naslands the country of wealth. Hiroshima the country prospered on will, Bulcroaria the country of Freedom and Feronia the country of manual labor or slavery."
The man walking with the slaves stared at Darling and continued walking.
"We are now in the heart of Feronia and we should get a move on."
