Never in his wildest dreams did Cele think he would be in this position. He hadn't ever a pious man, but here he was, the ‘wolf’ of some Simonese priest - some Simonese prince. Cele knew what Heiko had claimed was true - they would need him to predict the wiles of Ingo's mind, especially when he had General Alfred as his weapon. Heiko grew up with them both, and whether he was hated or beloved, any amount of excess time spent with someone would allow a glimpse into proclivities that would otherwise go unnoticed. Cele feared that the line they toed would be nearly indiscernible to the Ilysians. He feared that the sliver of space that would determine victory or defeat would fall upon the back of a miniscule gesture that only a serpent's eyes could catch. A serpentine eye like Heiko's.
