The Bikes will be moved tomorrow morning so the only thing needed was to stop the truck before it reaches its destination.
-
Moving through the streets, Keith was looking for a vehicle to rob the truck, preferably a bike, when he spotted a nice Pegassi Bati 801 in the shade of a building, out of view from most of the streets.
Taking the bike and riding through the city heading towards the docks. Looking for a container with the number 1896 – 1004. Seeing a truck leave with a container Keith inspect it and found the numbers 1896 – 0247.
"Close but not the right container."
Keith waited for half a hour seeing around a dozen trucks leave most of which had the beginning number 1896 probably indicating the shipment order.
When finally the right truck left the docks, letting it get a head start as to not arouse any suspicions -Keith volowed it Heading north.
Keith had decided not to make a move on the container before it left the city. So the chase began.
…
After a hour of driving the truck finally made it to the edge of the city, instead of heading onto the highway the truck took a side road. The time of the moving caused traffic to be light, so Keith decided to strike.
Pulling up next to the truck he aimed his gun at the driver.
When the driver saw the person to his left via the side mirrors aiming a gun at him he panicked. Swerving to the right. Onto the grass plains not seeing the tree trunk in his way. Crashing the truck the driver was knocked out.
Thus unable to stop Keith from taking the 'slightly' damaged truck with the four motors.
Keith brought the truck to the underpass near a garment factory, not to far from his clubhouse, without the cops being alerted.
Finishing the job by calling Lester, informing him that the bikes are delivered and ready to transport them to a different truck.
[Leave the truck there, I will get someone to transfer the bikes.]
Finishing the conversation with Lester you take the fourth bike to the clubhouse and hide it under a tarp. Knowing that he himself is ready for the Heist.
-
On the second floor of he garment factory that Lester owned, Michael was giving the final briefing.
"Now, we all know why we're here… We've got a store to take. The plan is simple.. elegant. Listen to Lester. Pay attention to the information he gives you and we'll al make a buck. Things go bad, you know the drill… This wasn't organized, we don't know each other. We got caught up in a robbery and acted in self-defence. But that is not going to be an issue because everything's gonna go just fine."
Finishing the monolog Michael turns to Lester a balding man who looked to be some geek, but Keith knew that he was more threatening than a cyberbully. He had contacts in high places and knew the business.
"The em.. alarm system is easy. Now if I didn't need to be running things, I could have it offline myself no problem but uh.. you should be able to get us a pretty decent window. How decent depends on the job you do. Now, once it's down you signal Michael, he makes the call."
"If things look good we should be able to drop a present right through the air vent on the roof. Everybody goes to sleep, no problem. We take our time… If we run into trouble, we move quickly and with force. Any Questions? No? Let's go."
…
Exiting the office Michael gives his commands
"Frank, you're with me. Paige, you're in the truck with the bikes. Keith, Norm, you got the van… See you on Little Portalo, people. Initials only from here on out."
Keith saw Michael and Franklin leaving in the car. He was a little disappointed to drive a little van but the pay was worth it. If they were to take all the jewels it would be around five million, of which two point five would go to Martin Madrazo Leaving the crew with the other two point five million of which seven and a half precent was your cut totalling to 187.500 dollars. The number was not set in stone but for a starter job it was a good pay-out.
Keith entered the driver seat of the fan, his co-pilot Norm was a rookie, not really experienced with the work.
"So N, How did you get into this profession?"
"I was a family man originally, but after hearing Michael Townley died I changed. I started small and now I am working with the legend himself."
"Sound exiting, so how is your driving?"
"Why you ask?"
"Well we will be doing some stunts while fleeing the cops. The bike I brought are great at manoeuvring and shock absorption is there but if you are caught unprepared, you might fall."
"Thanks for the warning. So are you experienced?"
Keith let out a small laugh
"hehe.. Yes you could say that.. anyway Michael Townley eeh?"
"Yes unbelievable that I can be a part of his crew, it is a dream come true. Right?"
"Well I followed his carer a bit way back when I was starting out but that was right around the time he was presumed dead."
"So you don't know much about him let me tell you…"
"We have arrived put in your earpiece, you might want to hear what M is saying."
"Right!" norm says while fumbling with his earpiece
Getting out of the van you instruct Norm to do the same
[Almost there.]
"We're in position, waiting for your signal." Michael respond while Norm moves over to stand at his side.
[That was it. They are going out.]
Hearing the voices dwindle inside of the store and the last person dropping to the floor, Michael an Norm enter.
[I've been able to get you around a minute and a half before the alarm will reset itself.]
Page communicates the time that they have while Keith moved the van to the other side of the street.
When he got back Page had arrived and Franklin – who had come of the roofs was taking the first bike out of the truck and while Keith took out the second Franklin was taking the third bike. All In under a minute. Clearing Page to leave when Michael got into the truck.
[forty seconds left]
At that last prompt Michael leaves the Jewel store right after Norm who was already getting on his bike.
"So For the last time, move it." A traffic officer was bothering Franklin about moving the bikes
"Man, get the fuck out my face!"
'the kid got spunk, more so than Norm.' Keith thought to himself
Throwing the officer to the ground Michael stood over him
"You forget a thousand things every day, pal. Make sure this is one of 'em."
Michael hands the jewel back over to Franklin clearing us to move.
"I'll see you at the river. Go!"
With the prompt to move Keith accelerate the bike, carful not to leave Norm and Franklin in the dust.
"Stay close to me and you will be save, lets go people!"
"Hard left coming up! Onto the big road."
[Lets do this.]
..
"We are taking a right dropping of onto the Freeway."
[Whoo!] screaming because it was a bigger jump than expected Norm loses control of the bike for a second but manages to take the control back ,because of the good handling on the bikes.
"you will see a tunnel by the underpass, enter it. And watch out for the jump."
[Shit! Almost didn't make it, Thanks K.]
"Don't mention it, through the tunnel doesn't matter which one both lead to the same location." Keith says guiding them through the tunnel and sewer system under LS.
"Don't go through the tunnels, take a left up to the corridor, it will take us through the sewer."
"Watch out for the drops inside of the sewers after the first drop there will be a intersection go left and then follow the path till we reach the LS river."
…
"The sewers are coming to a end boys."
[The police know where you're coming out of in the river – we're here to help – but get ready for a warm welcome.] page says over the coms
[Shit they are all over us]
Keith takes out the gun attached to his thigh shooting the tires and engine causing a couple of police cars to spin out or stop moving.
[Ey man, more cops]
[Shit Michael wat ae we going to do]
[stay calm we will handle this.]
"There is some serious heat out here!"
[There is a roadblock ahead, man. We should cut across the river!]
[keep going, we will make it out.]
[I should really charge more for getting involved into a police chase!] page says seemingly irritated by the scenario rather than scared like Norm and Franklin.
[serious we cant take much more than this.]
Funny enough that was the last cop car in sight.
Stopping at the end of the river Keith, Norm and Franklin get into the truck.
"Aw fuck, man I thought I was goin' be stuck to that bike."
"I thought you would be stuck under a cop car."
"There gotta be more dudes waiting round the way. We did not just get away with that shit, did we?"
"You know what? I think we did."
Some small celebration could be heard from Norm Franklin And Michael But not from Page or Keith
A short drive later they had arrived to the lockup.
"Alright people we need to split up, They're gonna be looking for a crew"
Stopping before the five Lester informs them
"I'll wire your cuts when the rocks have been sold."
"That shit was crazy so what now?"
"Keep our heads down."
"Hey you did good kid, you too Norm, Keith. What I tell you Lester, huh?"
Seeing Lester nod to Michael's questions Michael turns to the group.
"Alright everybody take of… Hey Franklin."
…
Leaving in the same direction as Page, Keith decides to start a conversation.
"So how long have you been in the business?"
"Didn't Michael tell us to go our own ways, so why are you following me?"
"They are looking for a group, and I am just looking for someone to enjoy a beer with."
"I don't like beer."
"No, you seemed like the type?"
"And what do I look like, someone who would go out with you?"
Keith adopted a shocked expression
"Who said anything about that, You are just the only person from the crew I would like to have a drink with."
"Because I am a woman?"
"No because the other interesting characters are all old and while Franklin could be a good friend he is just starting out, you on the other hand are the only non retired pro excluding myself."
"You call yourself a pro when I have never heard of you?"
"exactly, that's how good I am the only traces you could find are a name and description if you were to search for it."
"Are you also a comedian?"
"why would you ask that, do I make you smile?"
"No, you make me laugh…"
"Another time perhaps?"
"If I feel like it."
"that something, see you around page."
"mhhp."
