The clouds were getting heavy the next morning and the dews were thicker than usual in Cardinal Peaks. The sun struggled to break through the dense cloud cover, casting a muted light over the town.
Mayor Rachmat Sulong and Laksmana Bujang were in the courtyard of the Mayor's residence, awaiting Zanno's arrival. The air was filled with the weight of the decision that lay ahead.
The envoy's guards were already in their Gear, ready for their morning exercise. Lieutenant Ohma was as disciplined as ever, leading the rest in a light jog around the courtyard.
As the minutes passed, Zanno finally arrived with his father Jengo, his youthful energy and passionate aura contrasting with the somber atmosphere. They approached Mayor Rachmat and Laksmana Bujang with curious expressions.

Mayor Rachmat noticed a change in Zanno's attitude since the last time they met. A new side, totally opposite of the humble little boy he knew.
"Can we please hurry up?"
"I need to get back to the Training Arena."
"I am the only one that can help them with the new Gear development."

Zanno paused, his initial impatience giving way to a realization of his behavior. He took a deep breath and nodded apologetically.

Mayor Rachmat appreciated Zanno's willingness to recalibrate his attitude. He took a moment to gather his thoughts, choosing his words carefully.

Zanno was quiet. Not a single word came out as he slowly bowed his head down in thoughtful contemplation. The weight of the decision and the realization of leaving the place he had called home for so long began to sink in.

Zanno pulled out his Ki card. His invisible Gear began the activation sequence after the card was inserted. A mesmerizing transformation unfolds in front of everyone in the courtyard.
As Zanno's Gear activated, a surge of energy enveloped him, causing his appearance to undergo a dramatic change. His once youthful demeanor was now replaced with a fierce and determined expression.
The previously invisible Gear now materialized around his body, emanating a brilliant glow. The Gear's intricate mechanisms whirred and clicked into place, transforming Zanno into a formidable force.
Mayor Rachmat and Laksmana Bujang watched in awe and concern as Zanno's transformation unfolded before their eyes. The courtyard fell silent, the guards and Lieutenant Ohma halting their exercises, their attention now completely focused on the extraordinary scene.
Zanno's voice resonated with power and determination, amplified by his Gear.

His words echoed through the courtyard, filled with defiance and a newfound sense of purpose. The air crackled with anticipation as Zanno's Gear hummed with energy.
Mayor Rachmat, his concern mingled with admiration, stepped forward, raising his hands in a gesture of peace.
