Talon had become more dedicated to reading several novels recently. He had narrowed down a few that he found intriguing for a potential film project. Out of the 120 books on the list Yuki had meticulously prepared, only five truly stood out to Talon as potential hits.
One of these standout novels was the book he was currently engrossed in, seated in his cluttered office. It was the author's second book, and its story was just as captivating, if not more, than the first.
"Talon, I…" Alice began, as she entered the room, only to be taken aback by the towering pile of novels on his desk. She craned her neck, trying to spot Talon among the stacks of books.
"Talon?" she repeated, a hint of impatience in her voice.
Talon's head popped up from behind the mountain of books, and he chuckled softly at her expression. "Hi, Alice."
"Have you turned into a bookworm all of a sudden? What's with all these books?" Alice shook her head in disbelief. "Geez…"
