Chương 119: Idiotic Prisoners Start A Fight

Chojusen flew out of the treasure room after his Final Treasures came back to him. They had grown much stronger, reaching the Mid Grade of Eternal Grade treasures. He then made his way back to the Spacetime Domain Kaguya was training at. She didn't seem to be in deep meditation, as she woke up immediately upon sensing Chojusen land next to her. Kaguya didn't make any extreme improvement as she had only trained for three extra months, but she did get most if not all the insights she could out of the Spacetime Domain.

With Kaguya back in the party, Chojusen flew back to through the remnants of the formations he had obliterated and was stunned to hear Marshadow call him. Marshadow said "Oi, give me another treat."

Chojusen's eyes narrowed as he heard the ghost man, he said "How did you eat all the flames so quickly? Last time, the "treats" lasted for several years..."

"All that training on the ship made me hungry~"

"Mhmm..." Chojusen made an EXTRA large serving of nihility flames and put them in the storage ball Marshadow carried with it everywhere. Marshadow let out a couple chuckles and returned to laying on Chojusen's shoulder; it had been there the entire time…

Chojusen and Kaguya continued their commute to the trapping formation keeping the World Gods and Daolords in check and crossed over with no restriction.

Their arrival was impossible to conceal as any movement from the formation would arouse the prisoners' attention. All hundred or so prisoners turned to look at Chojusen and most made way over to his side.

However, before they flew close to the area Chojusen and Kaguya appeared from, everyone turned and gasped as they say Kaguya. She was a newly ascended Daolord, not having enough time to consolidate her cultivation base; the aura and fluctuating Dao energies emanating from her, instantly revealed her status as a Daolord.

Cultivators above the Zifu Stage all had tremendous memory capacities, so all of them remembered that when she and Chojusen entered the trapping formation, she was only an Ancestral Immortal. In less than four years this woman made a double breakthrough to the Daolord Stage? This shattered some of these cultivator's worldview, as it defied common knowledge.

Chojusen and Kaguya couldn't bother themselves with these people that ignored them when they first appeared, so they started making their way to the first exit, which led to the cave system.

Some of the Daolords couldn't help but call out to them, after waking from their stupor. One Daolord said "Fellow Daoists please wait!"

"Mhmm… What do you want?" Chojusen wondered if they would shamelessly ask him to break them out of this place.

"Urr, I'm Daolord Waterbright, can we discuss business on the ground?" This Daolord was truly ticking Chojusen off. He first gave Chojusen an annoyed look and then completely ignored him while talking directly to Kaguya. It was more than likely that this Daolord believed that Kaguya was the one who could break through the formations and that Chojusen was nothing more than her retainer or something like that.

Chojusen looked at Kaguya and said out loud "No need to bother with him, lets go." Kaguya gave him a nod and quietly flew behind him, as Chojusen made his way over to the other exit formation.

Uh, oh. The Daolord was actually being submissive to the Ancestral Immortal. This had many hidden meaning; the principle one being, they had all messed up their chance to settle this peacefully. Immortals all cared about face to a ridiculous degree, thus disrespecting Chojusen was akin to cutting off all possible chances of negotiations. At least this was what most of the trapped World Gods and Daolords thought.

However, they outnumbered Chojusen's party and outpowered them too. Another Daolord called out "Ignore that idiot! We want to leave this place."

Chojusen stopped his flying and looked back at the second Daolord who spoke and said "So what?"

"So what? Kid do you even understand your situation? We can easily gang up on you and take your treasures to leave this place. We already know you have a key!"

Chojusen though it to be funny that they said he had a key. He knew exactly what they thought, and though it would be funny to spook them. He said "I, Chojusen Akimichi, swear on my very life that I don't have any formation key for these trapping formations! Should I lie, may my Dao vanish and my life perish!"

"..." This was a legitimate lifeblood oath… If he was lying he would have already died. Lifeblood oaths couldn't be faked, as Chojusen would have died if he had used any name other than his own when swearing on his Dao.

"If you don't have a key how did you break through the formation?"

Chojusen put on a show and caused the world around him to turn dark, then with a single source of light hitting his face from below, he said "Magic~" It looked like he was telling a ghost story; acting very mysterious.

Several Daolords felt insulted by Chojusen playing these games with him. One of the Daolords yelled out "Don't play games with us!"

"Why the fuck should I tell anything and everything you want to know?"

"Why?" Every was dumbstruck by these Ancestral Immortal's recklessness. Just where did he get the courage to curse out all these people that matched him? "Because we can kill you!"

"Yeah? But will you? If I die how will you get out?" Chojusen laughed to himself. He kept flying towards the exit.

"Tie him down! If we can't get him to comply willingly we'll force him to swear a lifeblood oath! I think our little Immortal friend will comply after suffering a couple rounds of soul extinguishing torture."

"Soul extinguishing torture?" Chojusen would have left even if they tried their hardest to stop him; just on account of him having Omega Nihility, Void, Space, and Lightning Daos he could outrun most Daolords; losing only to supreme Daolords that specialize in speed. However, they wanted to torture him? Just because they couldn't have their way? If that was the case, then they don't need to exist…

Chojusen told Marshadow to not intervene unless the situation became dire and told Kaguya to take care of the Daolords. He would join her shortly after taking care of the World Gods. Chojusen immediately assumed his Chaosfiend Scale Mail Form and Chi Sage Mode to propel himself to peak World God levels of raw strength.

With his figure fading away from reality only to reappear when he was about to strike, Chojusen was like a Death Reaper; coming to claim the lives of these World God level sinners. The first two or three World Gods had no clue how they died, but the remaining enemies could see how Chojusen acted; they put up a fight, but died regardless of the fact.

As Chojusen cleanly cut away World Gods on one side of the battlefield, Kaguya started a massacre of her own. Her path was that of Spacetime, it was an extremely well balanced Dao, suitable for attacking, defending, but above all else, it possessed insane speed. Kaguya could be seen teleporting even through unstable space generated from the interference of these Daolords and her lag time between teleportations was approaching zero; she was untouchable.

Teleporting around the battlefield, picking off the weakest of the Daolords one by one with spacetime warping attacks or by trapping her foes in a region of collapsing spacetime, Kaguya inspired fear among all the enemies facing her. She was a mere Daolord of the first step, yet handled a situation where she faced off against an army of Daolords — several being at the fourth step and even the Verge level — with no fear or hesitation.

Battles of this level were extremely fast, so in less than a couple second, there were dozens of World Gods dead and several Daolords also perished. However, Chojusen couldn't help but feel his heart clench as he detected a heartforce surge! One of the Daolords was a Hearforce Cultivator!

This Daolord level Heartforce Cultivator yelled "Descend!" an a titanic world of hearforce manifested and caught everyone in the battlefield. The "heartforce world" barely affected Chojusen — perhaps decreasing his combat efficiency by less than 1% — but the same could not be said for Kaguya.

Kaguya might be an Omega Daolord, but her Dao Heart could not compare to Chojusen, who suffered years of torture to reach a level that would put Supreme Daolords to shame! She directly lost 40% of her power and a heartforce illusion caused her to black out for the shortest of time periods. Blacking out for even a thousandth of a second was extremely dangerous and these veteran cultivators didn't miss out on a chance to deal malicious attacks when they had the chance.

Still, Kaguya's Spacetime Dao was not to be trifled with and even after being caught by an illusion and coming to the reality of facing dozens of Daolord level attacks, she still managed to teleport away, suffering no damage whatsoever. These heartforce applications couldn't just be spammed to no end and hearforce was not an energy source that could be instantly replenished like Divine energy or Immortal Ki; thus Kaguya could battle against these heartforce assaults, with no problem.
