Any port in a storm held true regardless of who you were or where you were, and if that port was one you intended to go to anyway, seeking refuge within it felt like it was the best course of action all the more.

Zeph had thought about skipping the stop at King Crab Cove as the entire transport team was on board the CV Poseidon's Nemesis and doing so would allow them to shave many nautical miles and over a day off their travels to the transfer location, but Norton Coats and Colby Shelby convinced him that the stop and delay caused by it were still necessary.

After two unsettling, stomach-turning days out on the open ocean caught up in a storm that was still raging on while covering hundreds of miles of ocean and land alike, Zeph was glad that he had taken their advice into consideration and kept the bow pointed toward King Crab Cove.
