With a strong wind, the window of the room opened, and a small Chihuahua dog entered the room through the opened window.
It looked around the room, which was in a messy state.

He started to feel the gravity of the situation, and the atmosphere became heavy.

With a solemn expression, Rex asked Zyrion if Kira's death had been confirmed, suspecting there was a powerful force strong enough to kill one of them.
"A week ago... the core heart of hers in our secret base stopped beating and turned to ashes. Which means..."
Nodding his dog head, Zyrion started to explain to Rex how the core hearts, which each of them left in one of their secret bases with tight security, worked.

When Zyrion went to the secret base for a periodic checkup on the three core hearts, he found that Kira's heart had stopped beating and the transparent container that held her core heart was empty.
There was only a small handful of ashes inside it.
Seeing this, he went on high alert and started searching the base to see if there had been any breach of the security protocols they left behind for the safety of the core heart.
After searching for a whole day, he couldn't find any trace of a security breach, which made him conclude that Kira had met her end at the hands of a powerful enemy, who had used some means to kill her and destroy the core heart as well.
This bothered Zyrion greatly because it meant someone was able to destroy one of the most important things in their possession.
So, he immediately went to find Rex to inform him about this matter.
Flashback end...
"Should we try to find the enemy who killed Kira?"
Nodding his head in understanding, Rex suggested to Zyrion that they find the culprit. Mentioning the killer, his eyes turned red with black cracks appearing around them.
According to him, they needed to find the culprit as soon as possible and eliminate them before the killers became a big problem for them.
Sigh~
"No, we can't risk exposing ourselves to them... who knows who is behind this or how many are behind it... so we need to be careful and proceed with our plans with utmost secrecy."
Seeing the hot-tempered Rex wanting to find the killer and deal with them immediately, Zyrion shook his head with a defeated sigh and opposed Rex's idea.
He scolded Rex, reminding him not to forget their mission here, which was more crucial than chasing an unknown individual or organization.
There was a high risk of exposing themselves if they tried to probe Kira's killer.
They might lose more than they would gain.
Even if the unknown organization got a whiff of their presence and tried to track them down, it would take a lot of time.

Hope and Jojo were sitting under a huge tree inside the forest, having a conversation.

"It's their decision, Hope. I won't interfere in it."
Jojo shook his head, shrugged his shoulders, and stated that the ones she needed to talk to were the Cullens, not him.
After their conversation, they returned, and Hope invited the Cullens to join the same school as her in Mystic Falls but was rejected.
The Cullens stated they were happy with their life as it is now.
After staying for another week in Ludlow, Maine, Jojo and the Cullens followed the Mikaelsons back to New Orleans.
Mikaelson Compound...
In the room, all the Mikaelsons were standing in the marked area drawn by Freya, looking at each other tensely.
They were preparing to release the Hollow from their bodies so Jojo could defeat her and save them.
"Kid... if the situation gets out of control, take my daughter and leave this place."
With a solemn look, Klaus looked at Jojo seriously and took his place, preparing for the ritual.
Suddenly, the atmosphere became tense and unsettling environmental changes started to appear.
The temperature began to drop, eerie silence like a void, and unnatural darkness started to fall over New Orleans.
This was sensed by many, and they began to become agitated.
Vincent Griffith's eyes widened at the changes in the sky and the erratic feeling within him, and he started moving at high speed towards the Mikaelson compound to get answers.
Even Sofya Voronova turned to the direction where the Mikaelson compound was located, wide-eyed with fear visible on her face.
Without wasting any time, she too sprinted at high speed towards the Mikaelson compound with a serious expression.
All she wanted was to hear that what was on her mind wasn't true.
