Liliana rushed out of the cab right after it pulled up on the hospital porch. She almost slipped on the floor, only being saved by her quick reflexes.

Ignoring the stares given by other passersby, she ran to the elevator. Audrey's call from an hour earlier haunted her mind.

It was supposed to be a beautiful day with decent sunlight but, Liliana didn't have the luxury to admire the clear sky right now.

"Lili, Grandma collapsed. She's already admitted now. Come to Greenlawn Hospital."

Audrey only gave Liliana superficial information regarding Old Madam Shen's sudden illness. The latter quickly left the town hospital where Mrs. Fu was, directly coming to where Audrey told her.

Greenlawn Hospital was among the elite private medical center in the capital. Old Madam Shen often had her checkups there. Liliana used to accompany the old lady a few times before.
