Liliana didn't disclose everything to Lucas, just enough to let him have the gist of her situation.
Throughout the time she was talking, he didn't interrupt her at all. He intently listened to her until the end.
From time to time, the lake park visitors walk past them. The echoes of children's laughter intermingled with the distinct sound of people chatting.
"...it's just too complex. I always doubt whether my decisions are right or not. But, I won't just bury it behind me."
Liliana tilted up her chin, throwing her gaze to the clear blue summer sky. When the breeze blew, her hair was gently tousled behind her back.
"I haven't decided when to meet my maternal family. I'm lucky that Talia understands what my concern is. Now, I need to dig deeper into my grandparents' and my mom's accidents, to see whether they're related or not."
Will Lili find more than what she has expected soon? Stay tune ;)
