In the late afternoon, Caleb met Asher to brief him about his one-month-long business trip to Europe. It was regarding one of their collaborations with a foreign conglomerate.

Asher was scheduled to leave in three days. The preparations had been completed.

Caleb could see his boss' mood was foul. Thinking back on a new piece of information he had just recently received, he contemplated whether to tell Asher or not.

"President Shen, I have something to tell you."

Asher hummed, he didn't pay full attention to his chief assistant.

"The thing is..."

What came out of Caleb's mouth was akin to a bombshell.

"Young Madam went to the police station last night. Her friend got kidnapped. Attorney Su was there as well."

Stupefied, Asher blurted out, disbelief written in his eyes.

"What did you say? Repeat that."
