||Lucas||
At a quarter past twelve, Lucas arrived back at CafeOrama. He ran upstairs, feeling the cool night breeze blowing through his hair.
What happened earlier returned to his mind. A chuckle slipped out of his mouth.
Somehow, it was amusing yet also refreshing to see how Liliana tried acting out of her norm.
Lucas caught the traces of uncertainty and fear coming from Liliana, the ones she tried to hide. They were apparent when the bodyguards acted harshly toward Charlie Dai.
Obviously, she was not accustomed to such a brutal scene.
"Better not let her see a more violent scene," whispered Lucas to himself as he changed out of his outfit.
It was summer. He usually only slept with his cotton pants on. The lights glimmered onto his slightly pale upper body.
Lucas put the dirty clothes into the laundry basket. He planned to throw them into the small washing machine before going down to prepare the bread at four in the morning.
If any of you remember I mentioned how Lucas' father was always busy and went for outstations, the answer is here >:) What a total scum
