Aether decided to take immediate action. He and Paimon sought out various leaders and mentors within Mondstadt to observe their leadership styles and decision-making processes. The goal was to maximize the learning opportunities and gain the experience needed to level up his new skill rapidly.
Their first stop was Jean's office. Jean was in the midst of a meeting with various Knights of Favonius discussing strategies and planning for upcoming operations. Aether and Paimon quietly observed from the sidelines. Jean's ability to manage multiple tasks, her calm demeanor under pressure, and her diplomatic approach to resolving disputes provided valuable insights.
After the meeting, Aether approached Jean. "Thank you for letting us observe. Your leadership is impressive."
Jean smiled. "It's important for aspiring leaders to learn from experience and observation. If you ever need advice or wish to participate more actively, just let me know."
Next, they went to Kaeya, who was supervising a group of Knights practicing their combat skills. His methodical approach to training, his strategic thinking in battle scenarios, and his ability to inspire his team were eye-opening.
Kaeya noticed their presence and smirked. "You're keen on learning, I see. Why not join us for a training session? Hands-on experience is just as valuable as observation."
Aether eagerly agreed. He participated in the training session, taking note of Kaeya's tactical maneuvers and the way he adapted to different combat situations. The practical experience combined with observation proved to be incredibly effective.
Having observed and learned from seasoned leaders, Aether decided to check in with Noelle. He found her practicing diligently in the courtyard.
"Noelle," Aether called out. "How's your training going?"
Noelle looked up, her expression a mix of determination and fatigue. "I'm working hard to improve. I want to prove myself."
Aether nodded. "That's the spirit. If you ever need support or guidance, I'm here to help. Sometimes, talking about your challenges can make a big difference."
Noelle's face softened. "Thank you, Aether. It means a lot."
Back at the Knight headquarters, Aether reviewed the system's quest log. He had made significant progress and was nearing a substantial level-up. The experience gained from observing and participating in various leadership scenarios had been immense.
[ **Quest Update: Help Noelle to Gain More Self-Confidence**
Current Progress: 60%
Remaining Tasks: Provide support, encourage her achievements, and assist in overcoming personal challenges.]
Aether realized he needed to continue providing encouragement to Noelle and help her build her confidence further. He planned a series of small challenges and supportive activities to help Noelle prove her skills and gain recognition within the Knights.
As the days went by, Aether continued to work with Noelle, helping her develop her skills and confidence. He arranged for her to lead a small team on a routine mission to test her abilities and gain practical experience. With every step, Aether saw Noelle's growth and improvement.
The system's notifications indicated that the skill "Heaven Defying Leadership" was progressing rapidly due to the crit learning effect. Aether felt a surge of accomplishment as he neared level 80, knowing that his efforts were paying off and that he was making a tangible difference in Noelle's life.
Aether and Paimon's journey of learning and observation not only advanced Aether's new skill but also helped Noelle gain the self-confidence she needed. Their time in Mondstadt was proving to be an invaluable experience, with each interaction contributing to their growth and understanding of leadership and mentorship.
Aether was back in his room as he was looking at the system. "I have hit a road block, I am stuck at level 60 why is that".
The system then Spoke:
[ Because you haven't actually learn nothing, what you did was just watched and used me to get the exp, you didn't talk to Jean or Kaeya that is not learning that is watching and you know that, even if they were ok with it was not real learning, that is why you hit a road block, you know host I am disappointed at you ]
Aether retreated to his room, the system's blunt assessment weighing on him. He sat down, contemplating how to effectively address the roadblock in his skill progression.
"Alright," he muttered to himself, "I've got to engage more deeply. Watching isn't enough. I need to interact and learn in a meaningful way."
He decided to start with Jean. When he found her in her office, buried under paperwork, he approached with renewed determination.
"Jean," Aether began, "I've been reflecting on my learning methods and realized I need to dive deeper. Can we discuss some of the challenges you face as Acting Grand Master? I want to understand how you handle them."
Jean looked up, her expression softening as she saw the earnestness in Aether's eyes. "Of course, Aether. Leadership involves a lot of responsibility and strategic thinking. I'd be glad to share my experiences."
As they talked, Aether listened intently, asking questions about decision-making and problem-solving. Jean shared stories about her toughest decisions and the strategies she employed. Aether took notes, not just on the tactics, but on how Jean managed stress and motivated her team.
Next, Aether sought out Kaeya. He found the Cavalry Captain in the middle of organizing reports in his office.
"Kaeya," Aether said, trying to sound casual, "I'm eager to understand more about your strategic approach. Could you walk me through a recent mission and explain your thought process?"
Kaeya looked at him with a mix of curiosity and amusement. "Sure thing. Let's discuss the operation we conducted last week. It was a tricky one, and I'll explain the rationale behind each decision we made."
Kaeya's explanation was detailed, revealing the complexities of leadership and strategy. Aether was fascinated by Kaeya's ability to anticipate problems and adapt his plans. He realized the importance of flexibility and creative thinking in leadership.
Feeling more confident, Aether volunteered to lead a small mission. The task was to deal with a minor Hilichurl camp that had been causing trouble on the outskirts of Mondstadt. He assembled a team, laid out a plan, and took charge.
During the mission, Aether encountered unexpected challenges, including an ambush by a larger-than-expected Hilichurl group. He quickly adjusted his strategy, coordinating with his team and making decisions on the fly. The mission was successful, but Aether knew there was still much to learn.
Afterward, he gathered feedback from his team. They offered insights on what went well and areas where he could improve. Eager to learn, Aether also sought Jean's and Kaeya's opinions on his leadership performance.
"I've been reflecting on the mission," Aether said to Jean later, "and I'd appreciate any feedback you have. What could I have done better?"
Jean nodded thoughtfully. "You did well under pressure, but remember that effective leadership also involves ensuring your team's morale is high and communicating clearly. Keep working on those aspects."
Aether took her advice to heart. He continued to refine his approach, using the feedback to improve. His efforts began to pay off as he noticed his skill progression accelerating.
With a newfound understanding, Aether embraced the challenges and responsibilities of leadership, committed to growing both as a leader and as an individual.
Aether after coming back to his room, he opened the system. "Wait why am I stuck in level 80, I did everything right at this time".
[.....]
Aether just looked at the system. "Answer me"
[...Your and Idiot...]
Aether got a tick mark. "What did that mean".
[ Check your taps ]
Aether sighed and opens the tap, as he saw red glowing icon, it was eye catching with the golden systems screen, he opened a saw
[ Mondstandt leadership learning, has been Maxed out, to level this skill Further you must go to another region ]
Aether just looked at the system. "You have to be shitting me, doesn't help, I am planing to stay in each region for 1 year looking for my sister".
Aether paused, taking in the information. "Level 60? So I'm ahead of Jean in terms of leadership skills? That's... unexpected."
Paimon, floating nearby, tilted her head. "What's surprising about that? You've been actively working on your skills, and you've had the system's help."
Aether nodded. "True, but I wasn't expecting to surpass Jean's level. I guess that means I'm on the right track, but I shouldn't rush things just because the system says so."
He thought for a moment, then looked at Paimon. "Since there's no time limit, I'll focus on completing my tasks here in Mondstadt first. I'll work on strengthening my connections and getting more involved with the Knights and the people here."
Paimon beamed. "Sounds like a plan! We can use this time to help out in Mondstadt, improve our skills, and gather more information. Plus, it's always good to build strong relationships before moving on."
Aether smiled. "Exactly. I'll take this time to ensure that I'm fully prepared for the next region. And who knows? Maybe I'll uncover more about my sister's whereabouts while I'm at it."

With that decided, Aether turned his attention back to his room and began planning his next steps in Mondstadt, determined to make the most of his time before heading to Inazuma.
Aether then looker at the system. "Also when is the dragon egg going to hatch".
The system responded:
[ The Dragon Egg will hatch in approximately 14 days, depending on the environment and care it receives. The time may vary based on external factors and the host's interactions with the egg. ]
Aether nodded. "So about two weeks. I'll need to keep a close eye on it and make sure it's in a good environment."
Paimon floated closer. "Do you have a plan for taking care of it? Dragons can be pretty demanding!"
Aether smiled. "I've read a bit about dragon care from various sources. I'll make sure to keep the egg warm and secure. I'm sure it'll be fine."
Paimon nodded approvingly. "Sounds like a solid plan! Let's get ready for the hatching and make sure everything's in order."
With that, Aether made a mental note to prepare for the arrival of the dragon, while continuing his tasks and relationships in Mondstadt.
Aether looked at his sword. "First my sword name is Albion, then I got this dragon egg, we meet a dragon (Stormterror) in that start of our journey".
Paimon looked at bit confused. "What does the sword have to do with this".
Aether just looked at her. "Because king Arthur"
Paimon just looked at him. "Who".
One explanation of King Arthur legend starting from Uther Pendragon.
Paimon tyre to process what she learn. "Who, in what, his sister did what, ahhhhhh".
Aether saw a small explosion going of in Paimon mind, does the symbolism of her brain exploding do to the information
Aether chuckled as he watched Paimon struggle to process the complex legend of King Arthur. Her tiny hands were on her head as if trying to physically hold her brain together from all the information.
"Don't worry, Paimon," Aether said, smiling. "It's a lot to take in, especially since it's not from our world. But I just find it interesting that there are so many connections. Maybe it's all just coincidence, but still… it makes me wonder."
Paimon groaned, rubbing her temples. "Paimon feels like her head is going to burst! So, you're saying that because your sword's name is Albion and we've been running into dragons, you're like some kind of… what, a modern-day King Arthur?"
Aether shrugged, amused. "Not exactly what I was going for, but who knows? Maybe there's something to it. Or maybe it's just a bunch of random connections my mind is making."
Paimon sighed, floating down to rest on a nearby chair. "Paimon hopes there aren't any more crazy legends you're going to explain. Paimon's brain can only handle so much!"
Aether laughed softly, patting her on the head. "Don't worry, I'll keep the next legend simple. But for now, let's focus on what's ahead. We've got a dragon to hatch, a sister to find, and a lot of mysteries to uncover."
Paimon perked up a little, her usual enthusiasm returning. "Right! And Paimon's here to help you every step of the way!"
Aether nodded, feeling a renewed sense of purpose. As complicated as things seemed, he knew he wasn't alone in this journey. With Paimon by his side, he was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, even if they involved dragons, mysterious swords, or ancient legends.
