Historia's stumping footsteps could be heard in the trees as she dashed through the forest, crunching the leaves beneath her feet, panting and gasping while she kept a firm handle on the side bag hanging with a single strap over her shoulder.

Although her long full body dress was slowing her down, and her thin pumps let through the pain of stepping on rocks, she kept going. Behind her was a pack of vampires growling and grunting, desperate to catch up. Some leaped from tree to tree while others crackled the twigs below.
