So yeah , you guys won. You will get your wish and I have to waste chapters for hoenyra's character and intelligence development , which could have covered more interesting stuff. Boooooo!
None of you provided good suggestions as to how she will be actually worthy of mc or what role she would play . So, I'll have to start from scratch. I had half a mind to make her ntr mc after marriage and then mc burning her, thus closing the option of romance permanently .
I'm just kidding of course.....

Anyways, just to stay away from her, I'm going to delay mc return to Westeros till much later. He will return once 2-3 years later to visit Driftmark, then leave again.
I'm writing a smart mc , not a simp who will waste his time helping her since childhood and throw away his opportunities. Romance was not my priority, It will be less so now.
I repeat, Mc is not a simp. He doesn't need her to win the throne. He doesn't need to participate in the dance which was unnecessary. I have to make him dumber now, as he will be part of that disaster by default after marrying the her. So you should understand my frustration.
Also, there will be now another romantic interest, and I'll focus on her more .
Hahaha, what did you expect? You throw democracy in my face, then I'll be a corrupt politician who changes his tune after getting elected! If one marriage is political, other will be for love.
I mean, would you happily love or marry a woman that has bad records as her? Mc knows her as the one who brought ruin to her house. The reason I hate her personally as well. She has to go through character development just to be even worthy of the alliance.
I wanted to use Laena for this, but since you guys chose Rhaenyra, I'll choose the OC. I'll write a strong, proper female lead so good, that you guys will be mad when Rhaenyra chooses to leech on Mc. Heh
My disappointment is immense and my day is ruined.
