It was incredibly difficult to tell the passage of time in the Abyss as there was no sun or moon or even stars to provide a reference point. And whether morning or night, the cloudy sky was stubborn in its bleakness.
One would think the status window would have its own digital clock to tell time as the passage of time in the Abyss was much slower than that of the mortal realm. But, whether it be accidental or with purpose, the devs neglected to add this feature into the game, and players were forced to spend their hard-earned soul stones on expensive timepieces and lightning-dials.
Luckily for Sage, Kongo was one such player. So he was able to tell her that they'd landed back at base camp at exactly twelve o'clock in the evening, a brand new day that also signaled the arrival of the Night of Samhain which mortals still celebrate as Halloween.
Trick or treat, fellow reapers!
Boy, did Morgana plan that one really well or what... LOL Don't forget to vote guys! :D
Also, as a Halloween gift, I want to share a special treat with you guys — a sneek peek at my upcoming novel, LEVEL UP HERO!
It'll be a bonus chapter that drops at exactly 12AM. If you'd rather not read it, skip the next chapter and wait for the regular chapter that comes out tomorrow night. Ayt? :D
