"What are you doing? What is that?" She turns the plastic cup around to check and her eyes widen as she reads the order detail on the sticker.

"Your drink. Isn't that what you always order? Did I get it wrong?"

She looks at me as if I have sprouted three heads. "N-No. Why did you get me a drink?"

"Nothing. I just thought of it while I was getting our drinks." I shrug, then point to Mariano's door. "I'm going to wait for him inside. I like your dress. Looks good on you." I smile and walk away. I wasn't lying. Her dress is really nice.

I open the door, briefly glancing at Sylvia on my way in and I silently chuckle to myself. The woman looks at her drink and then at me several times, looking so confused and unsure of what to do.

She probably thinks I poisoned her drink or something. I wouldn't do that.

Unless she pisses me off.
