Tansill was secretly astonished.
Yudel was afraid that Lion would refuse, so he didn't dare to approach him directly. Instead, he thought of telling Tansill through casual conversation, hoping that he could pass on the message and, in turn, gauge Lion's attitude.
Little did he know that Lion had already guessed his intentions and flatly refused him.
"Uh, okay, alright then," Tansill wiped a cold sweat in secret, feeling fortunate that he didn't agree to it.
As expected, Uncle Lion still detested Yudel as always. He didn't want to get involved in anything related to him.
After seeing Tansill off, it was almost time to finish work.
After tidying up the office desk, the intercom on the table started ringing.
Lion's indifferent magnetic voice came through, "Go to the basement and wait, I'll be down in five minutes."
Lizette didn't hesitate to refuse, "No need, I'll take the subway."
