Celestia's POV:
Darius was still not able to speculate if the Fae Lord was lying or not. I don't understand why he is hesitating now. Isn't it obvious that Samuel is acting?
"Darius," I shouted again and went to him. Before I spoke to him, I gave a deadly glare to Samuel, who was tied up in the wooden chair beside me.
"You can't go easy on this man. He is definitely lying—"
"But how can you prove that, Celestia?" Darius questioned me.
It was hard for me to believe if it was actually Darius talking. "Are you siding with a traitor?" I shouted out.
"He is innocent until he is proven guilty. That is the law of the Celestial realm now—"
I struggled to understand how different the law was before. I shifted uncomfortably on my feet and turned to Edwin, who was watching our argument from the corner of the room.
I expected him to back me up, but he was silent. None of my friends were backing me up!
