Tóm tắt
Naiari, a bastard daughter who was abandoned by her mother, ignored by her father and tormented by her stepmother the queen and her stepsister. She is a nobody without a title, without any use until her father decides to marry her off.
In a callous move and with the help of magic, Naiari ends up getting married to the crippled king Kael that her sister was promised to.
Naiari discovers that there is more to Kael than his disability, he is powerful, astute and ruthless with anyone that crosses him. Even more than that, she realizes that he is the only one that she feels genuine warmth from and she finds herself falling in love but a deep secret is stopping her from getting swept off in her feelings.

“Have you come to help me bathe wife.” Kael asked, his voice mocking and Naiari’s cheeks bloomed a rosy red of embarrassment.
“I am sorry your highness but I believe that is a task for your maids.” She said curtly, an unfamiliar tinge of jealousy annoying her as she remembered that the maids got to see him naked.
“Kael.” He said and she looked up at him in confusion.
“Call my name.” He demanded, his eyes hot as they concentrated on her lips as if willing her to open them and speak his name.

Viết đánh giáShameless Author review here; My very first book so I’m rating myself 5 stars for taking this step and even getting a contract. I assure you all that this is going to be a delicious book and if you like a reluctant protagonist , read on. ❤️❤️

I read up until chapter 25, and started reading this two days ago. I’m enjoying it so far, this story isn’t so typical then other wolf/Lycan stories. The suspense and mystery of the supernatural, Kael being a crippled character, and Naiari’s character development not being a damsel in distress in a new place. Also, what I’m loving sooooo much about this is that it’s not in a characters POV (no offense to the writers that do it sometimes it’s great, but it can be a drag at times). There are some minor mistakes but I don’t believe it’s a big deal where you don’t know what’s going on in the story. Keep up the great work! 🙌🏽
