Chương 103: Already In Love

Marcella woke up to the bright sun falling into the room. She checked the time and she had just enough time to get ready for office. She didn't remember walking to the bedroom. And she was wearing clothes—his clothes. 

Did he dress me and carry me in?

Marcella's lips curved and she turned to the side and hugged his pillow. He's been leaving early every day and she figured he might have left already. She smelled his shirt and it had a beautiful scent. She wanted to stay there forever. She deliberated whether she should go to work that day. 

In the end, she decided to go. She was well-rested and she was happy. She wanted to share her happiness with the only friend she had. 

She got down from the bed and only then she noticed that Joey was not in the crib.
