Mu Ru had been dawdling in the kitchen. She did not help Mother Liu bring breakfast to the dining room. Instead, she had been helping out in the kitchen. It was not that she wanted to be treated as a servant. She simply did not want to go out and face Dongfang Yu.

She stayed in the kitchen and intentionally missed breakfast. She ate a little in the kitchen, but she was listening attentively to whatever was being discussed in the dining room.

When there was no on left in the dining room, Mother Liu went out to clean up the dishes. Mu Ru secretly heaved a sigh of relief. Then, she smiled at Mother Liu and pretended that she had finished her work before walking out of the kitchen.

As expected, there was no one in the dining room. She looked at Ah Min, who was mopping the floor. She was planning on asking Ah Min if she knew any nearby gardening shops. She wanted to buy some orchids and camellias so she could plant them in the south garden.

However, just as she walked to Ah Min's side, Dongfang Jun ran inside. When he saw her, he hurriedly called out, "Mu Ru, quickly go upstairs to get your bag and come with me to school. Big Brother has agreed to let you go to school."

When Mu Ru heard this, she was stunned. She looked at Dongfang Jun with a shocked expression, as if she had misheard. She blinked her eyes and asked, "What did you say just now?"

"I said that Big Brother agreed to let you go to school." Dongfang Jun laughed when he saw Mu Ru's shocked expression. He took two steps towards her and said, "Hurry up. I happen to be going to school too, so I'll bring you along."

"This is impossible. When did he say that to you?" Mu Ru stood there without moving. She was still very skeptical. She had missed the opportunity when she failed the task Dongfang Mo gave her. Dongfang Mo told her before that she had wasted the opportunity to go to school, and she had already learned to accept that fact.

"Last night." Dongfang Jun hurriedly explained to her. "After dinner, you went upstairs, right? I originally wanted to go upstairs to give you a book, but Big Brother told me that there was no need to give it to you. He said that you can go to school today instead. Anyway, you haven't been able to help much here at home, so you'll only cause trouble for him."

When Mu Ru heard this, she felt extremely uncomfortable. She had already tried her best to learn how to be the first lady of the Dongfang family, but because she was young and inexperienced, there were many things that she could not do well.

Dongfang Mo was probably referring to the night she went missing when he said she caused more trouble for him. She had no idea how Uncle Liu reported that matter to Dongfang Mo. However, she was unsure whether Uncle Liu knew about what happened between her and Dongfang Yu.

That night on the yacht, after she and Dongfang Yu had slept together, she finally woke up and regained her senses. She was so ashamed that she wanted to jump into the sea and drown. She was so embarrassed that she had been intimate with her own brother-in-law.

Dongfang Yu held her hand and whispered to her then, in his effort to justify what had happened. "This matter is between us. There's no need for other people to know about this. The yacht ran out of oil, and Uncle Liu and Ah Hao went to look for oil nearby."

"Mu Ru, what are you thinking about?" Dongfang Jun asked when he noticed that Mu Ru had become absent-minded. He immediately pushed her and said, "Hurry up and go upstairs. You might be late. Don't you want to go to school?"

Mu Ru quickly ran upstairs. She really wanted to go to school. She was very happy that she was finally allowed to go.
