Chương 42: 42. Knights of the Round 2.
I use my finger and open up the portal. "If you all could line up, I have your equipment ready. You get 1 set of armor then pick a weapon I have laid out, then you grab a set of materia, a waist pouch, and a dagger." I instruct.
They rapidly line up and step through in single file order. The first knight approaches the judge armor and kind of melds into it, the cloak covered it's back and the eyes flashed white before the armor stood up. It looked around the room before picking up a razor sharp sword and a shield, heading over to the bed it grabbed a pouch, attached it to its waist hung the dagger on its waist, then grabbed the materia which melted right into the armor.
After that it came over and knelt in front of me. "Thank you for your grace my King." a female voice said.
"Your welcome." I smile at the armor. "Your all my responsibility so I have to take care of you."
One by one the knights melded into the armor, picked a weapon, grabbed accessories and materia and then knelt before me.
"I'll have to order the saddles for your mounts. You are welcome to customize your armor or cloaks how you see fit, just make it so they kind of match. I don't care if you add spikes, pauldrons, trim, whatever but I would like for others to know that you are part of a group." I pull out spare judge parts and they all look at it for a second before touching parts of the armor, like liquid their armor pieces changed slightly adding a bit more uniqueness to each of them so you could tell them apart but you could also tell they were 100% from the same group.
For example the armor that had choses a pair of dangerous looking daggers went for a more sleek look and the armor was made darker to match and the cloak gained a hood.
The one who had chosen a greatsword had increased in size a bit gaining some height and bulk.
The armors all still looked magnificent.
"Alright, now that the equipment is out of the way. Do you all need anything else or want anything else?" I ask.
They all shake their heads.
"Alright then. I'll have to check with my dungeon guide later in and get you all registered, hopefully I don't have to pay for more tamers licenses." 130,000 for tamers fees would be crazy and then another 130,000 for the Chocobo. I don't have that kind of cash. If need be we could hit up the dungeon for funds, with 13 more people as skilled as I am then it would be an incredible run, plus monster spawns increase the more people there are so maybe we will have a huge increase and we can store everything in the kingdom. However for that I would have to be present as they can enter the kingdom but they would come out where I am.
"For now you all head back and get used to your weapons and gear. I'll be in there in a bit I would like to get dressed." I tell them.
"Yes my king." They vanish into light and I head to my closet to find some clothes I also have to clean up the broken equipment and weapons in the room.
I store what I can and kick the rest into the kingdom for later. The judge armor is incredibly well made and has some rare materials mixed in. Just because I have more doesn't mean I can just waste it as I have a limited amount still.
"You should be resting." I hear Hel behind me.
"I'm healed now, we all seemed to have forgotten I and Lili could both use healing magic." I point out.
Her cheeks turn a bit pink at that. "I admit during the emergency that might have slipped my mind."
"Don't worry it slipped mine too. I am fine now, even better than before." I grin at the woman.
She slowly checks my arms and make sure there is no scars remaining before nodding. "Who were you talking to?" She asks curiously. Having heard voices and metal being moved around downstairs.
"My new summons, they are living armors. Each as strong as I am." I explain. "I also have some more things unlocked. Grab Lili and I'll show you guys something."
Hel nods before heading off to grab Lili who comes back looking confused. I grin at the girl. "You know you forgot that you have healing magic and could have healed me of my wounds?" I ask with a smirk as she pales. "Don't worry i forgot too, it's a lesson that we learned together now let's go."
Using my finger a large tear opens up in front of us showing the gray world.
I step through followed by the two females. In the distance the knights are sparring but quickly stop and head over once more kneeling in front of me. "My king." The numerous female voices sound out confusing the two other females.
"Relax, I'm here to adjust the kingdom and add a guardian or two." I raise my hand and the plinth rises up from the ground.
In front of me a large red crystal appears. This is what was called Mega-Materia. It was made inside of Mako reactors which drew energy from the planet, the Shinra Company from Cloud's world planned to launch it into space to blow up a meteor threatening the planet.
The rough looking chest sized crystal touches the plinth and there is an explosion of energy, as the crystal melts and turns into a beautiful diamond shape. A large yellow sun appears in the sky lighting up the world. Mana also fills the air rapidly as the crystal sinks into the plinth.
The large red mega-materia shows in the side of the plinth glittering away.
