Chương 115: Shadows

Kyouko had been waiting by the door while Histoire was searching on the couch with trembling hands when it was five minutes before the clock would strike ten o'clock. She had been watching the clock on the wall as it ticked by the second, the second hand moving continuously until it finally struck ten. As a precaution, Kyouko suggested they wait two more minutes, and when that amount of time had passed, she opened the door and peered into the hallway. Histoire's apartment room was isolated along with Kyouko. There were many cameras down the hallway and about a minute's walk to the elevator.

They made there in time and got up. They anxiously waited for the elevator to reach the ground floor. Getting out through the stair well was difficult as they required a pass code and that was the mode of movement between floors that the scientists utilized.
