"If you leave this building, I can't guarantee you protection," Ikari said. He had been speaking to her as though she were an asset that had to be taken care of with special care, and she noticed. She noticed it and she did not like it. He was being heartless and not considering her feelings.
"Can you guarantee me protection in here?" She asked only a second after his statement. He narrowed his eyes at her and sat up straight.
"You're hardly around, and even if you are, I hardly see you. What if one of your people decides they want to have their way with me? Since this is the place for such business, it's possible that one of your customers might mistaken me for one of your girls. Me or Tsuki, or possibly the both of us," she explained, still standing far from him and by the closed door. It was scary enough being in the same room with him without having to talk to him in a way that demanded a certain result. A result she was not guaranteed to receive.
