●Raymond Street B, The house at the end of the row●
Back into the present everything flashed through Renna's eyes like a horrendous film, which had been giving her nightmares since past six years_ each day passed like returning from hell.
"I'm sorry boss but I was really worried about you, it had been hours since you knocked off my voice."
Ray Ji complained like a naughty child regarding Renna's attempt to turn off the bluetooth fixed in her ear, which was connected to the chip in her wrist.
The lady was definitely not a fool to barge into the territory of terrifying mafia king, Ronan Ross, all alone and on the top of it without any weaponry.
But can you guess, where she is keeping the weapons?
A smile appeared on Renna's face as the woman shook her head side ways, sighing over Ray's overtly worrisome nature. But then again it was definitely not in his control because the man was being driven by his emotional attachment towards Renna.
"You fool, I had to sleep too. Or by any chance you wanted to hear your master's snores?"
Renna giggled softly and pulled his leg by hitting the very spot verbally. The lady sounded little complaining, although Ray could not see her pout but the technical expert had already known how she would have reacted upon his utterance.
"Haha, no boss. How can I dare to demand something like that so boldly, I love my head. Oh my! I still have to get married, get laid, have to fertilise some eggs and…"
Ray Ji listed out the things in single breath and dramatically exclaimed at the thought of losing his life and pending wishes.
His rants got interrupted by Renna's giggle.
"Ew! Ray, how can you be so shameless? At least choose some decent words to say...say…'that'!"
Her voice got stuck into throat upon puking out the term specially designed to cover up the whole thing.
Meanwhile on the other hand, milestones and seas apart maybe, Ray Ji was residing somewhere unknown and hidden. A blush appeared on his cheeks, tainting them reddish pink as he could sense Renna's flustered expression.
The man raked through his sleek hair and bit the corner of his thin lips, as a meaningful smirk appeared on his sharply carved face. Perhaps if Ronan Ross had not married Amaris previously then he might have had a chance to pursue his master.
"Oh! Haha, okay boss. I have sealed my mouth."
Ray's voice echoed in Renna's ear as the naughty right hand man surrendered himself to his master's command.
"Good. A wise choice Ray. Because I'm definitely not in a mood and irritated with a hungry, growling tummy."
Renna stated her important matter of having empty tummy, because previously Ray Ji used to serve her as a personal cook, and later on someone else held the position.
"I wish master, you could have taken me with you. I miss making eggs and bacon for you...Oh God! I still remember the day when I had to sneak into your room with milk and macarons."
Ray Ji suddenly recalled a day out of his bundle of past memories spend with Renna, when the lady had kept herself occupied in training. The Russian mafia Lord had fulfilled his promise by granting Amaris life, the lady was reborn with a new identity but of course, the father had owed her numerous things.
Thus, after sensing that Renna Amaryllis had shared a friendly bond with Ray Ji, the Russian lord allowed him to accompany his daughter by taking an oath that no matter what Ray would never leave the heiress alone.
But no one would have imagined that the mere technical expert would eventually fall for her, I mean who would not? The lady was cunning, witty, bold, adventurous and a risk taker_ on the top of it seductively gorgeous!
"Aye! Yeah, those were the days when you did not leave my side fearing that I would become a depression patient."
Renna became silent after uttering the words, but soon realized that her words had made Ray guilty for bringing up those years.
Thus, the lady chirped cheerfully in order to lighten up the atmosphere.
"But undoubtedly I still miss your burnt toast and eggs from first trial."
And a laughter resonated on both sides, sitting on the bed Renna Amaryllis was laughing wholeheartedly.
Don't know after how many years of pain!
