Chương 45: Preparing to help Shive at war!
We arrived at the pub and ordered food and as always, Kiel ordered a lot of food. I ask them,
"So which Aura do you want to use, Vivi, Kiel?"
Kiel replies,
"Hmm I want to use Influence or Pride Aura, so everyone can see me as the greatest mage in the world! Like The Belliot Sisters!"
She laughed so hard and I reply,
"I think you are way stronger than my mom and auntie now, Kiel. What about you Vivi?"
Kiel's eyes are glimmering when she heard that from me, and Vivi replies,
"I want to be like Miss Edith and Miss Secra, I will use Kindness or Trustworthiness Aura. I also have to act that I'm worthy of this power."
Kiel and I nod and give a thumbs up to Vivi. Kiel says,
"We only have 2 days left to prepare ourselves, before we go and help Miss Shive. What do you guys think?"
Vivi replies,
"I don't know, because this will be my first time going to war. Where the difference between life and death as thin as a strand of hair. I'm scared of course, but if Miss Shive needs some assistance, I have to overcome my fear and help her."
Kiel replies,
"I agree! For me, I'm not scared at all. But I'm nervous, like Vivi said, this is also my first time going to war. If what Mister Zee said is true. Then my magic can't kill them at all, and I can't just throw some spells carelessly. I'm afraid that I'm not even helping at all, and just making things even worse."
I reply,
"That's true. I remembered what Miss Shive said that night. We are not experienced enough to go to war, and even that we are now way stronger than a few days ago. We still don't know the terror of war, and if we are ready or not. But I can't just stay here doing nothing, and we made a promise to watch each other's back. So, let's do what we can do and stay together no matter what happens."
I'm holding their hands and says,
"We are the Eminent! Let's do our best like always!"
Kiel and Vivi are nodding and cheering for the Eminent. Gianna and Tessera came out and Tessera says,
"What with the commotion. I can feel Kiel's burning passion for something."
Gianna nod and says,
"Same here sis. I also feel the burning passion from Vivi."
Kiel and Vivi explained that to them what we were talking about. The foods are here and so we eat them before it gets cold. After we're done eating, we go back to the castle, and it's morning already. So we will start the day with training and planning to get some rest tomorrow.
Everyone is awake and Zee asks,
"For some reason, we all woke up early in the morning because we sense some bloodthirsty presence near the castle. I wonder who that might be..."
We just laughed and apologized. Aisha chuckled and says,
"What a scary bunch of Kids. So what did you do?"
We explained to them what we did, and I say,
"Mister Zee, we want to spend our time today with training, because we want to be useful on the battlefield later. Train us until we can no longer stand up, so we won't be a burden or make a mistake. We want to help Miss Shive."
Zee replies,
"Alright. If that's what you guys want, then let us train you to fulfill your wish. Let's go."
We are at the training ground, and Zee is waiting for me. But before I start the training, I ask Aisha,
"Aisha, can you copy this wooden sword?"
Aisha is tilting her head and asks,
"Hah? Sure, let me see."
Aisha took the sword and observe it. She nods and says,
"Hmm, this sword is made from a Sacred tree in the Garden of Eden... Okay, I copied it, now what?"
I reply,
"Can you make it? But, make it 5 times heavier."
Zee raised his eyebrow, and Aisha replies,
"Yeah sure. Hold on."
A wooden sword appeared in her hand and then she gave me the wooden sword. As I asked, it's 5 times heavier than the black wooden sword. But with my current strength, I can handle it just fine. I readied my stance and says,
"I'm ready Mister Zee."
Zee nods and then he's charging in. I blocked all his attacks and when I can't, I dodged it easily.
30 minutes have passed, and Zee says,
"Wow. What happened to you? You're suddenly becoming more calm and collected. Your strength is also improving. Is she helping you out?"
Aisha chuckled softly. I reply,
"No Mister Zee. But I did get a gift from Aisha. So right now it's just my pure strength, without Aisha's help."
Zee smiles and replies,
"Alright. I'll use more strength and see how strong you are."
I readied my stance again, and Zee disappeared immediately. I don't have to look back and just put my sword behind my back. I blocked Zee's attack, and I use my elbow to hit his stomach, but he dodged it. It's time for me to do the attacking. I'm charging in and use projectile attack, and I know he will dodge it. I just need to get ready where is he going to move, and as I expected he dodged it and move to the left. Without hesitation, I pushed myself as fast and as far as I can, and planning to thrust him on the chest. Zee noticed that and blocked my attack. He grabs my hand and twists it. But I immediately responded to it and flip my body. With that momentum, I kick him on the face, but before my leg can hit him, he pushed me away. He runs towards me and punches me in the face, but I grab his arm and pull him towards me and use my knee to hit him on the chest. I did it, and Zee is spitting blood. Without wasting my chance, I lock his arm with both of my legs. I grab Zee's head and slammed it to the ground. After that, I jumped back and readied my stance again, while I'm catching up on my breath. Zee stands up and says,
"Oi oi... What's this? I guess I have to get serious huh?"
Zee released Fear Aura, and I immediately released Supreme Aura to prevent me from the fear. After I released my Supreme Aura. My body is still trembling, but not from Fear, but my instinct told me to run away. And suddenly Zee appeared in front of my face while smiling, and when I want to block his attack. I just realized, that both of my arms flew away and blood came out from my shoulders. I want to scream but if this is on a battlefield, I have to run and save myself. Without hesitation, I headbutt him across the face and run away from him. Aisha approached me and regenerated both of my arms. Aisha asks,
"Are you alright, Val?"
I smiled and reply,
"Of course. If this is a battlefield. When the enemies toying with me and didn't finish me off immediately, it's my win. As long as I still can survive and have a chance to go back to fight. I'll take the chance."
Aisha chuckled and says,
"What a smart kid."
I readied my stance again. My instinct is fine, but my body is not strong enough to react to it. I have to train physically more. So I asked Aisha to make it 10 times heavier than this, and she agreed to it. Zee noticed that the wooden sword I'm holding is getting heavier than before, so he asks,
"Did you made it way heavier than before, Val?"
I reply,
"Yeah, Mister Zee. I did because I want my physical stronger. Back then, when you suddenly appeared in front of me, my instinct told me to run away, but my body can't react to it yet, because my body is too weak to follow my instinct."
Zee laughed and says,
"That's right. Alright then, let's make your body reflexes as fast as you possibly can with today's training."
I nod and we continue to train until night comes.
12 hours later. It's night already and we all go back inside the castle and eat dinner and Aisha keeps patting me on the head on our way inside, saying that I did a good job. Zee says,
"Tomorrow, you three get some rest. We will be going to the Babylon Mountain at night."
Vivi asks,
"Are we going to the Babylon Mountain with the carriage? It will take us a week to get there though, isn't it too late for us to join Miss Shive?"
Edith replies,
"Yeah, but that's the fastest way to get there. If it's just us, maybe we can fly and get there in one day. If Vex was here, he can open a portal and get us there in a second."
Aisha is munching a slice of meat and says,
"If we go at night, I can take you all and make it there by the morning."
Everyone is staring at Aisha, and Kiel ask,
"With what Miss Aisha?"
Aisha replies,
"I can change my form and become anything. Just trust me."
While she's still munching and smiling. We all are staring at each other and believe what Aisha said. We continue eating our dinner.
The next morning.
I woke up and went to the living room. I see Zee talking with Den and Secra. I approached them and asked what are they talking about.
Zee replies,
"Secra and Den will be staying here to accompany Silvia, Sinista, and Albert."
I ask,
"Why them, Mister Zee? Don't we need Miss Secra and Mister Den?"
Den replies,
"I just do what Zee ordered. I'm also not in the mood to fight against the undead."
Secra replies,
"Same here, I don't like undead and I prefer to play with Shive's little siblings. You have Zee and Edith, everything will be alright."
Vivi and Kiel just woke up as well and joined us in the living room.
