Chương 114: night together

Upon his entrance Emily noticed he was too distracted enough not to notice her when she was just standing close to the window, how she had missed this feeling of being home.

But then she was reminded of the last time when she spoke with her husband it was last evening.

Though there was nothing in particular that he did to make her suspect something but Emily noticed that Leon was acting strange even a simple question could get an opposite answer and she thought maybe he was tired.

His tone was a bit cold and short that she wondered of he was busy or something had happened in the office that ruined his mood and even so he would not turn his anger to her usually he would seek comfort from her when such a thing happened.

He had asked Henry what truly happened but the man provided unsatisfactory answer blushing away as if it was a normal thing when she knew it wasn't.
