Chương 147: a year together

Looking back a lot of things had happened in span of one year, some people say if a relationship pass a year then the ship will sail smoothly.

Was their marriage finally reaching that level? are they really going to live a happy life.

All this was just headaching thoughts, throwing them in a dustbin, Emily looked at herself on the mirror and had to admit that the stylist and makeup people did justice to her appearance.

" Princess you look great! I'm sure Mr Black won't be able to drop his hoe tonight" Lai said playfully making her face turn red.

" Sometimes I wander what prosecutors like you do in Court!" Emily said softly as she continued looking at herself

" convincing and mind blowing presentations, defending clients and serving justice"

" Sounds heroic"she commented with a small chuckle

" Not as saving lives" Lai replied with genuine look and didn't seem like playing around.

" Right!... you admit should I be surprised?" Emily said with raised brows only to have her sigh.
