Gold realised that he was stammering and decided to stop running around the bush and say what he wanted.

" will you go for a date with me tonight" He said with all the confidence he had gathered that almost had him sweating.

Although he acted confidently his heart was beating fast inwardly praying for her to accept the suggestion.

" I'm busy" Lai said coldly trying to sound as normal as possible and he became disappointed after hearing that but before he could say something else she said to him.

" However I can find sometime for dinner, tell me at what time I should be ready?" Lai said calmly and immediately he was alive again if he could he would have cheer happily but he had an image to keep as a boss.

" I will come to you" He said hastily and Lai was quiet for short time before saying.

" You don't have to" Lai said with little resistance to what he suggestion and realising that she wasn't that against the idea he tried his luck again.
