Chương 111: The Conclusion

"Who else is remaining now?" Elric asked after investigating one more house. The situation was the same and they walked to the third house. 

"Derek," Evelyn replied. 

"Nice," Elric nodded. 

Reaching in front of his house, they noticed it was locked. She saw Elric move towards the house and check the lock. He looked around as if looking for something and moved towards a spot where laid a small rock. He grabbed it and moved towards the lock. 

"What are you doing?" Evelyn said with her eyes wide. She looked around to see if someone was watching them. She felt like a thief for some reason. 

"He hasn't been here for months." 

Hearing his reply, she turned her gaze back to his back and asked, furrowing her brows, "How can you be so sure about it?" 

He reasoned, "The cobwebs and dust amount of filth accommodated on it shows everything."
