Chương 13: Being followed

*Third POV*

"Why should we be just a fish in her pond where she just wants to throw the bread to the one she wants to feed. While others just try to swim towards just to have a bite for their empty stomach." just to stop right in front of his brother who was staring at the pond.

Looking at their reflection just to be disturbed by the fish just swim by it.

"What are you trying to say, Vulen? You know that the princess likes us right, she loves us. She won't be like our mo-"

"Do you really trust that woman? Who won't betray us as our mother did to our father?" Ruven just stayed silent.

"She wasn't even able to gain our trust, even after we said everything to her, all she could just feel sorry for us. If only sorry could heal our wounds. That bit-"

"Vulen! How can you say something so appreciative about the princess! What can she even do, the things that had happened were our past. How many times do I have to say that to forget about it and move forward?" turning his head, and folding his hands over his chest.

Making Vulen tug his hair behind his pointy ears, looking at the pissed off expression on his brother's face. This is really a rare sign to see his brother being mad when Ruven always held a gentle and soft smile.

"Before you tell anything, I'm mad at you, so it would be better you don't-"

"I know you are mad at me, how can you not be as I was just going to say something unpleasant about the princess" rolling his eyes with an annoyed expression on his face.

"Let's go and-"

"Don't tell me I have to go and apologize to her for something I didn't say in front of her or more like I didn't complete" Vulen looks towards the same direction as his brother across the lake. The clouds were starting to disappear from the sky.

"I will tell you once again brother I don't want you to get hurt once again. It's my turn to protect you. I'm just acting all lovely dove because you said so. I won't be able to keep this act forever" bits inside his cheeks folding his hands over his chest.

Making Ruven turn his head to look at his younger brother now mad at him, making him chuckle in response. Rising his hand up just to ruffle the long dirty blonde hair, the boy only made him take a step back.

"Brother why do you always do that you just messed up the perfectly combed hair the maid worked hard for!" hissing at his older who just laughs, Despite growing into an adult there is still childish left.

"Brother?" Vulen calls his brother out under his breath, running his finger through his hair to set it how it like before. Bending on his knees, staring at his own reflection, then at his brother's.

"What is it Vu?" a small smile spreads across his face hearing him called by the nickname.

"Do you really think the princess loves us? Will she be with us together and not leave us as our mother did?" Raven could feel the stinging sensation upon his chest. Making him place his hand right above his chest.

"I don't know Vu, I really don't know now after seeing princess with others rather than us" mumbling under his breath staring at the reflection of his own eyes.

Right then a hologram right above their head invisible to them, each of their one heart disappears. Turning grey, which was colour red a moment ago.

"Don't worry brother as I always said I will always be there for you," taking another step forward, warping his arms around Ruven who was just frozen on the spot as Vulen got on his feet being done fixing his hair.

"If she didn't choose us it doesn't matter, let's search for an owner to imprison it to make it our pet"

"Our pet?" Vulen just nodded his head in response with the smug look across his face making the sadness or whatever Ruven was feeling before disappear. Just to be replaced with a worried look over his face.

Meeting the twins in the garden failed…

The time has already passed way, the twins have headed back to their rooms

"Headed back, how can they? It's not even past noon, how could they just-" breathing heavily clicking over the hologram again and again just to see each of the hearts of the twins has disappeared with their art and name under it.

Rosette just stares at the hologram with a disbelieved and confused look over her face. Eyebrows almost touching together with her lips parted away from each other.

"How am I losing my heart why is this happening why there are random numbers showing in the screen with error?" bits over the bottom of her lips, a tip of her fingers touching it.

"What's the meaning of this?" standing in the middle of the shattered glasses and flipped the table.

Koishi just walks as fast as his feet could take him, feeling hot all over his body, slightly turning his head to look behind him.

Still, just to see the same hooded figure following right behind him, which only made him speed up than before.

'What the hell, why is that blonde still following me?'

"Stop following me" the voice just came out more like a whimper which only made him close his mouth.

'I can't even speak anything without making weird kind of sounds' breathing out, feeling his vision getting blurred for a second'

Still rubbing his finger over the red colour ball again and again just to see no sign of his butler. The ears pointed upwards on his head in an attentive manner, along with his tail poking inside his pant.

'Why is the stalker getting stalked'

"Are you sure you are okay, dog?" heard the voice which was still following right behind him. Still ignoring the presence of the guy with the hoodie figure with red eyes going round and round around the never-ending circular empty hallway.

'Why the hell is he still following me? Ugh, only if I wasn't lost this wouldn't have happened. But why do I feel I had seen the twi-that Doesn't matter I'm horny now and a stranger is following me ugh what kind of luck are you carrying Koishi'
