"SHUDDUP GLITTERBEAK!" Jiggles snapped.
[Master above, here they go again!] Fours groaned through the mental link. Empress chirped loudly at the glitterbeak insult, her feathers clanking as they ruffled.
"GLITTERBEAK! I WILL TAKE THAT MONIKER FROM MY LORD'S OLDEST AND MOST TRUSTED EVO BUT NOT FROM A MOUTHY WHELP LIKE YOU!" Empress screeched.
"Not like you can do anything about it. Tin feathers!" Jiggles sneered. Empress squawked at that insult and splayed all four of her wings open before launching a flurry of feathers at Jiggles.
Jiggles tried to block the feathers with his bracers but Empress launched so many feathers that she ended up getting a couple of good deep cuts. Jiggles staggered back then ran a finger over one of the cuts, seeing blood on his fingers him trumpet with anger.
"YOU POMPUS CHEESE GATER! THAT HURT!" Jiggles bellowed, popping his claws. Empress screeched and leapt backwards.
"KNOCK IT OFF!" I rroared while channeled gravity attribute mana into Dia Caos then fired a shot at each of them.
The bullets hit both targets and immediately sent both Empress and Jiggles crashing to the ground. The force of the gravity was enough to keep them pinned and splayed on their stomachs.
"Seriously you two? This is not the time to be fighting amongst yourselves!" I snapped as I stepped between the two evos.
"Sorry my Lord!" Empress apologized.
"Sorry Star Shaper…" Jiggles apologized as well.
"Just get it together guys…" I started then froze.
I suddenly felt the connection to myself and Bone-lasher sever. Which sent a wave of panic wash over me. Empress, Jiggles, and Fours all felt it as well. It felt like the thin unperceivable thread that connected us was pulled taunt and snapped.
[BONE-LASHER!] I called out to him mentally, even though I already knew that the connection wasn't there.
"What happened to General Bone-lasher?!" Empress exclaimed.
"BOSS BONE-LASHER!" Jiggles bellowed while looking around frantically.
With my connection to Bone-lasher severed I could no longer borrow his electromagnetic vision which meant I had no idea where he had been when the connection severed or where we were.
[Pretender! Calm down. Cast a spell to track Snaggle-fang!] Fours advised me. I nodded then bit my thumb and quickly wrote runes that I hoped would work to find Bone-lasher on my arm.
I channeled mana into that arm and started casting a axiom spell sigil. A black and green orb formed in my hand then flew down the hall, stopping at the corner.
"Come on!" I yelled then channeled volt attribute mana and ran after the orb.
The orb started flying down the next hallway, moving just fast enough to stay ahead of me. It lead me through the maze of hallways, glowing brighter and brighter with every turn I took until I turned down one blood soaked hall. The remains of several Nephilguize were decomposing, slashed to pieces with scorched chunks of flesh. I turned another corner and the orb stopped.
Lying in the middle of the hallway was Bone-lasher. He had a dozen or so Nephilguize surrounding his body, touching him, and draining what mana he had left.
"BONE-LASHER!!!" I bellowed and popped my claws.
The Nephilguize turned in unison and growled at me. I rushed the Nephilguize, approaching the closest one in the blink of an eye and stabbing it in the chest with electrified claws. The points of the claws pierced it's heart and killed it in an instant. I pulled out the claws and sidestepped to the right, dodging a clawed hand of a Nephilguize. I pulled Dia Caos out and fired a incinerate attribute mana bullet at the evo. It erupted into flames and left nothing but ash, I then jumped back several times and fired two more shots and killed two more Nephilguize.
The small horde that had managed to pin down Bone-lasher all jumped to their feet and rushed me. At that moment a flurry of metal feathers blades flew past me and impaled seven of the remaining Nephilguize. They then erupted into flames that burned them from inside out. A quick glance over my shoulder and I saw Empress quickly flying towards me. Jiggles surged past me with a explosive lunge and grabbed the head of another Nephilguize then slammed it into the ground. It's head popped like a grape, along with its upper body.
"BOSS BONE-LASHER!!!!!!" Jiggles roared and unleashed a thundering trumpet.
He popped the claws in his bracers and charged at the remaining evos. He started hacking and slashing at them. Not trying to kill them but brutalize them, tearing them limb from limb but careful to not damage their hearts. I looked back towards Empress and saw Fours flying around the corner and approaching me with Empress. I turned around and rushed over to Bone-lasher, seeing that Fours had,the situation handled.
"BONE! BONE!" I yelled as I fell to my knees and shook him. Bone-lasher was unresponsive and felt cold to the touch.
I quickly looked him over and saw that he didn't have a single scratch on him. I had to choke down a wave of panic to keep it from taking me over. I placed my hand on his head and channeled mana into him. Normally I would be transported to his mental landscape however there was nothing. He had no mental activity whatsoever, I also couldn't sense any mana left.
"NO, NO, NO, NO, NOOOO!" I screamed, feeling the grip I had on my panic becoming loose. My farm crystal glowed a deep ochre then flashed to a solid greediness color.
My control on my mana slipped and I felt a massive wave of mana rushing from my body and into Bone-lasher's. That mana was drawn in and sucked up by his mana crystal cores, swirling and condensing. All at once I felt heat start to build in Bone-lasher's body, followed by the very unpleasant feeling of a needle stabbing my brain. Bone-lasher gasped for breath at the same moment I heard his voice in my head.
[BOSS!] Bone-lasher screamed in my head. Lightning sparked off his body and shocked me, sending me flying back into the wall behind me. I groaned and looked back towards Bone-lasher, seeing him jump to his feet. He snarled and crouched, baring his teeth at everything.
"BONE-LASHER!" I called out. His head looked in my direction. Through the renewed connection I could sense his confusion. He jumped back and bared his teeth at me.
"DISGUSTING FAKE!" He growled. I frowned and snapped my fingers, channeling shock attribute into my fingers. Lightning sparked off my fingers which grabbed Bone-lasher's attention.
"Who are you calling disgusting, Bone." I said. Bone-lasher cocked his head to the side then turned. Empress and Fours stood a couple feet away from me, at the ready to strike if Bone-lasher tried to attack me.
"Glitterbeak? Snaggle-fang?" Bone-lasher said, questioningly.
[Spark-for-brains.] Fours replied. Bone-lasher stood up straight and gasped, turning to look at me.
"Boss! It is you…!" He exclaimed. I stood up and dusted myself off, ignoring the slight shock I felt coursing through my legs.
"Yeah, glad to see me?" I replied.
"How are you…never mind!" He said then looked down at his hands. "…I thought I was dead…it…it was like I had fallen asleep…"
"I think you did die. Or at least your heart stopped beating due to mana loss." I said. Bone-lasher frowned and cocked his head to the side.
"Doesn't that mean I died. No heartbeat means no life." Bone-lasher said.
"It had to be Our lord's boon. The power he granted you as his First named." Empress said.
[Boon? You mean when he saved you?] Fours asked. Empress nodded then walked over and pointed a wing at Bone-lasher's chest.
"The cores inside your chest General Bone-lasher must bind you to Our lord. As long as he persists so will you." Empress said. I frowned and crossed my arms.
"That makes sense…kinda…your crystal cores must keep you from truly dying. When I killed the Primordial I shattered it's crystal core. Like these Nephilguize, the only way to kill you all is to destroy your cores." I hypothesized.
A loud screeching pulled me out of my train of thought. I looked towards the direction and saw Jiggles stabbing the last of the Nephilguize through the chest. It died with a screech and Jiggles stood up and let out a triumphant trumpet.
"Damn parasites!" Jiggles growled.
"Too bad these Parasites were once human…" I said solemnly. Bone-lasher suddenly growled and shared his electromagnetic vision with me. I saw another horde of Nephilguize heading our way. Hundreds of them scurrying down the halls. "…Oh fuck a duck!"
"More parasites!" Bone-lasher growled.
"Yep! I'm tired of this bullshit!" I growled then holstered Dia Caos and pulled out my manacite dagger. "Bone, Empress, Fours, you three head back inside my farm crystal. Jiggles, get ready! We're using Crystal Genesis!"
"My lord are you…?" Empress started to ask but I quickly cut her off with a surge of mana that forcibly recalled her. Seeing Empress get recalled in such a way Bone-lasher and Fours both recalled without a argument.
"Isn't our fusion a little…big, Star Shaper?" Jiggles asked. I nodded.
My fusion with Jiggles was just under one story tall. In the maze of hallways that we currently found ourselves in it would be a bit cramped but it wasn't unbearable.
I channeled mana into the manacite dagger and started casting and axiom spell sigil. A star shaped crystal formed in my hand and I shattered it as I saw the first wave of Nephilguize in the horde round the corner at the far end of the hallway.
"CRYSTAL GENESIS ACTIVATE!" I bellowed. A wave of mana surging out from the crystal, hitting Jiggles and knocking him into the air. Purple crystal began to cover his body as the spell began to take effect.
"JIGGLES CRYSTAL MERGE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"
Crystallized Jiggles shattered into dust and that dust swirled around me, lifting me up into the air. I closed my eyes as I felt crystal covering my body. It began to twist and warp, becoming wider, taller, and heftier. Becoming more like Jiggle's body. Two arms sprouted from my back, giving me four. Two tusks sprouted from my mouth and extended down to my stomach before curving up wards slightly, the ends tipped with crystal.
I felt cracks forming in my skin, an intense heat emanating from myself. With each passing second I felt Jiggles presence in my mind, melt and melding with mine over and over aging until…
Ifrit
My body coiled into a fetal position before launching into a deep stretch. The purple crystal that covered my body shattering into dust and forming back around my waist and lower body to form a sort of primal style loin cloth.
"IFRIT! WE ARE UNITED!" I bellowed as a wave of mana and heat surged from me, incinerating the first of the Nephilguize that were fast approaching.
I landed on my feet and let out a loud and long groan before standing up straight. I nearly bumped my head on the ceiling and had to crouch slightly.
"Chase was a little wrong bout the space thing…" I said to myself, placing the palm of my third hand flat on the ceiling. I looked down the hallway, the horde of Nephilguize had came to a halt. Stopping just before the charred corpses of their fellow evos. "…but there are more important things…should be bout four hundred of you fuckers…time to burn some angel rejects!"

Hutexa_The_Djinn Genesis Fact: The name of a crystal mergeance form is not chosen at random or even by the caster of the spell. The name is chosen by the fusion itself, being the summarization of the two entities that make up the fusion. While this fusion is only temporary they entity that results from it is not. Even though Chase and Bone-lasher might not be merged, Leviathan still exists, it's soul but the two halfs of both Splicer and Evo. So long as both live so does the Fusions. One could argue that thr crystal genesis spell is the ultimate spell and final test of a splicers metal, as it truly makes a creature that can never be replicated once it takes it's last breath...
