Ross moved to the center of the bed, leaning back against the headboard with a casual grace that exuded authority. 

He was still dressed in his signature attire: a crisp white shirt and black jeans, a combination that somehow made him appear both approachable and commanding.

She studied him for a moment, her heart racing as her thoughts swirled. 

She knew exactly what he wanted, and for a fleeting second, doubt crossed her mind.

Ross tilted his head slightly, his dark eyes locking with hers. 

"Get to work, my love," he said, his voice soft yet filled with an unmistakable heat. 

"I've missed you and waited for you a lifetime." His words carried weight, like a promise and a demand wrapped into one.
