"I don't want to ruin things," I ran my fingers through my hair as I let out a sigh and watched Belli as she played with Eli and his electronic tractor, "The kids are so close now and if I mess things up I'll be isolating Belli forever. I just don't want that, every time I come back chaos follows."
"But Ethan you've changed," Georgina gave me a kind reassuring smile, "You're not the same from two years ago and we know we won't there when all of this happened but you're a catch Ethan. Don't be so hard on yourself."
"You don't want him to be swept off by someone else," Holly nodded, "Next thing you'll have to fend off some other woman or man then you're back in the same cycle of events. You're grown men surely you can sort this out better than the first time."
