Chương 554: Still not giving up

Penelope could barely calm down with what was happening in her life. First her plan to seduce Nicolai went downhill. Secondly, she could not silence Ariana before her identity was disclosed and it led to that woman now living under the same roof as her. Lastly, not to mention, Ariana was the cause of her face being disfigured. 

Now she had lost the very foundation to attract a decent man and could only rely on the scheme that was cooking in her head. 

And to make things worse, her mother was now supporting that woman without caring about her. Even the servants treated her with condemnation. 

It was too much. 

Penelope gritted her teeth in anger and panted heavily through her nostrils. Right now, her priority was to get Nicolai marry her, and she had to make that marry her no matter how! Thus, she did not care about how her words might have hurt Kaylyn, who truly cared for her despite the arrogance and her actions.
