"Is something the matter?" Nicolai asked the man who had stopped the two of them from entering the bar. This was the first time that he was stopped from entering somewhere. 

However, the man did not answer and simply looked at Nicolai with a stern gaze. 

"Money? Tip? Is that it?" Nicolai spoke as he took out a hundred dollar bill from his pocket and waved it in front of the guard. "Here, I am rushing so I will be generous." 

But the man didn't move an inch, he stood in front of him like he was some fucking door guard of the underworld or some shit. 

"Listen, here you little fucker——"

"James? Oh my god, is that you?" Just as Nicolai was about to drill his fist in the face of the guard, the woman next to him spoke up. 

Stunned, Nicolai turned to look at Ariana, who was now looking at the guard on the left with a smile on her face. 

"It is you, isn't it?" Ariana asked the guard.
