"Do I need to answer this question?" Ariana was lost for words. "I didn't even choose anything yet." 

"You always chose truth in truth and dare, Miss Harlow. So I thought that you would pick it again this time," Brandon smiled at her and remarked, reminding her of the many times they had played truth and dare. "You never once chose dare, but if you want——"

"No," Ariana stopped Brandon from handing her a dare. She was not good with dares especially dares that made her do something that she did not like, Ari was a woman of habit, control, and integrity. 

She didn't like stepping out of the box and picking a dare would most certainly mean that she would have to step out of her comfort zone. 

With her hand raised she pinched the bridge of her nose. It wasn't because she found the question a nuisance, it was because Ariana had no idea whether she even knew what love was.
