" You seem to be bothered by the scene. Should we head back?"
Spade asked, leaning back on the ruins of the old house while watching his newest crew member ruffle through the stuff. He finally knew this girl was a child of famous weapon makers in the islands, creating a handful amount of masterpieces through their sophisticated methods of crafting.
Hence, he was able to deduce that someone probably found their family and took the chance to get one of the treasures in the ocean before anyone could pick it or buy it from them since they were renowned for being a frequent mover.
" My papa told me that he had created his greatest saber with my mama's greatest guns. They must hide it somewhere because they believed the weapons would be either perceived as a priceless treasure or a heretic weapon since Church strictly prohibited using fallen or devil's cores to create weapons.
" True, it is hard to come by their cores since they rarely solidify their mana. Besides, one would lose their minds if they were exposed to it for extended periods."
Spade replied, agreeing with her words. The cores of mana users were extremely valuable due to being the universal type of material, specifically, those higher leveled forms, and humans were hard to see.
Depending on their mana nature, cores were able to utilize powerful mana and spells without any necessary procedures and they were too convenient mobile mana chargers, so many mana users sought after it for the high prices even if they were low level cores.

The sound of the lock was rang as Gesha opened a small hole in the floor which was covered and protected from any outsiders using it or opening it.
" A map? I thought they hid it here."
Spade said, sighing with disappointment since he was expecting to see the greatest masterpiece of them. He even thought they might rival Mendes' weapons and surpass some of them.
His expression didn't escape from sharp observation of Gesha who was looking at him with her corner eyes. She wasn't a naive girl like before, she was a broken girl with a broken mind.
" My parents aren't fools. They probably thought they would die someday in the hands of others. Therefore, they left this key to me which was used for unlocking this."
Gesha spoke with a trembling voice, feeling anger and sadness at the same time. The memories of her parents haunted her in her dreams, waking up from her sweet nights every time.
" Hey, it is alright. Sorry for mentioning it."
Spade felt guilty about talking about her deceased parents. He heard how they were killed and he could tell she was hiding her despair behind her indifference. This girl's will was greater than most of the adults. Perhaps, she would lead their group after Mendes and him.
" No problem. Since you promised me that you would help me, please help me to visit this island."
Gesha showed the direction of the island whereas Spade frowned when he saw the map. This location was quite a bit tricky due to being part of the lawless zone and there were a group of indigenous people there whom he knew for decades.
" Island of Man-Eaters. I never imagined they would hide their secret there."
He mumbled, recalling the horrendous image of the island which was famous as one of the deadliest zones in the whole ocean. They worshipped the heretic God of Blood, offering countless sacrifices for their God while killing many people whether they are from the tribe or not.
10 years ago the expedition of the alliance launched a fierce attack on them, almost wiping out 60 percent of their population, and bringing them back to the ocean. However, the cost was terrible as they lost many brave men and women to the ocean, bringing back dozen of cold corpses of those who bravely fought there.
" My parents used to tell me they worked for the alliance for a brief time."
Gesha noticed the heavy silence of Spade, knowing something was hiding on this island. Thus, she hesitated for a moment because she didn't want to hurt her new family.
" I can't decide it alone. We will decide it together and if we agree, we will go there."
Spade replied, motioning her to go since they had completed their objective.
