Chương 37: Chapter 36 : No need for a little chat.
Carson was tasked with taking Olivia back home but it was very hard not to notice the red Lamborghini that pulled up. Then the lady side profile looked so familiar to him.
By the time he'd caught up, she was wearing her helmet. " Who's that? You must have mistaken me for someone else ". Carson frowned, sure something was suspicious about this woman now " I'm very sure you're who I'm looking for, remove the helmet ".
Iris broke into a cold sweat, clamping the helmet as she screamed, " No "! Carson smirked knowingly, giving her helmet a little knock " Still as loud as ever Miss Fetti ". Iris shook her head, " I told you I don't know who that is ".
Carson raised an eyebrow, reaching out for her again. She moved back and pointed at him, " You did not see me. Leave me alone ". She jogged into the crowd, managing to shake him off.
" Who was that CC "? Iris sighed, getting on her bike " It's no big deal " [ As long as Oliver doesn't find me ] " I'll meet you out of here, city outskirts ". Iris forced herself to calm down as she pulled out and tried not to crash into the people.
She breathed when she passed the first gate and out of the human traffic " Almost there, almost there ". She heard a few engines as two cars suddenly stopped in front of her. She turned her bike to the side, stopping a few inches from the car.
Removing her helmet, angry at the sudden blockage she tapped the window " If you looking to put someone in the hospital, it's definitely not me ". When the window went down, she found herself laughing lightly " Scary Giant!? ".
Killian smiled slightly, he'd been called many things in his life but a Scary Giant was a first. And coming from such an odd woman at that but that didn't matter right now. She'd broken the rules and entered more than one race and now was trying to escape.
" I was hoping to have a little chat with you Smoke ", Iris tilted her head to the side, blinking a few times " This is a very odd way to ask Mister Scary Giant ". Killian wasn't sure why but he found her boldness amusing, " For a Fire Cracker such as yourself....I took a few precautions ".
Iris frowned, moving slightly from the car " When you put it like that, maybe another time ". Killian reached for her hand, squeezing it firmly as he got out of the car " Right now is perfect ".
Iris tried to pull her hand free but it didn't work. Her voice slightly panicky, " Let go of me! You've definitely got the wrong person ". Killian raised an eyebrow as he pulled her off the bike and smiled, " You can tell me all about in our little chat ".
Iris shook her head and kept pulling as he tried to put her in the car, " We can talk now, why go in the car? Let go of me ".

Carson had no choice but to go back and look for Oliver. He knew how important finding Iris was to him and honestly to him as well. Though Iris spent only four months in their camp, she'd made herself unforgettable.
The woman was a natural born Sniper and even took his title as SILENT KILLER from him during that period. Though she'd disappeared after and he got the title back, he still wanted to beat her fair and square.
" The mad devil has being spotted at the second gate ". Oliver nodded and was about to enter the car when someone slammed into him, " Surprise Ollie "! Oliver frowned, looking at Carson " You caught me, I thought you'd be on your way back by now ".
Carson avoided eye contact as Olivia let herself in the car, " I was, but then I thought I'd just go with you ". Carson mentally praised Olivia for reducing the burden on his back for going against orders.
Oliver let her into the car, leaning on the door as he crossed his arms and faced Carson " You better have a good reason for still being here ". Carson smiled playfully, You won't believe who I just saw ". Oliver smirked, " It better have been the death's messenger ".
Carson laughed and school his head, " Even better....Miss Fetti ".
