The cause of their daughter's illness could not be identified. Of course, because they couldn't figure out the cause, it could not be cured as well.
She was just a girl who was only 16 or 17 years old, but she already was suffering from unbearable pain. She did not know if or when her condition might be further aggravated. If this was some other child of the same age, it would be a fear among the family that the child's will had already crumbled. However, this girl persisted. She was very sensible. Not only did she keep going on sheer force of will, but she also knew how to ease out her parents' anxiety.
"There'll be a way." The girl's father looked at his daughter lovingly.
She did not complain and she did not give up on the treatments over the past few years.
